Re: 'trainers by the truck load, trainers by the tonne'

when i was in my early teens back in the mid-2000s, where i lived every cool kid used to go into town on a saturday in a polo shirt with their best jeans and some white velcro trainers. i remember these lacoste trainers being super popular and i think i had these cheapo fila ones . i've been on a bi...

Re: ramdom thoughts

my parents are moving house to the north east (of england). as an ardent southern england-er through and through i have no idea what i'll do with myself up there when i'm not at uni. hopefully the northern girls will think mistakenly think my buckinghamshire accent means i'm rich and clever when rea...

Re: LGBT talk palace

oops, this was meant to be a short post but it kind of grew into something bigger. apologies if it reads like the ramblings of a mad man. i don't think its unusual for bisexuals to feel somewhat disconnected from the lgbt scene, which is perhaps better described as an lg scene given that there is a ...

i'm attempting to join the master-race legion of ex-smokers. it's been one week.

part of me wants to go extreme without the 'e' and do the whole 'straight edge' thing but I wont because alcohol is great.

Re: What the fuck am I cooking for dinner?

never one to have anything remotely fancy, i've been making my own baked beans on toast quite a lot recently. it's a student staple over here but i don't like the canned heinz stuff that everyone else eats. i make it pretty spicy but i guess less chili would correct that, and its adapted (i.e. prett...

Re: Style Flintstone

my flintstone-ing is rather incoherent at the moment. a lot of my insp is coming from what i think of as a very British representation of urbanism and youth/rebellion, like the stuff below. oli sykes from bring me the horizon http://cache3.asset-cache.net/gc/177456899-oliver-sykes-of-bring-me-the-ho...

Re: We don't run on this high street; we run this high stree

i think its fair to say that there are two sides of the coin with allsaints. on the plus side it has good styling, better quality than topman et al, and the relative exclusivity that cmes with the higher price (if you buy something from topman you're going to see plenty of other people wearing the s...
