might also help if you post some fits that you like, or other styles of jackets you're into. fwiw, i second the gap recommendation. i had a field parka from them that was too big for me, but the quality was surprisingly nice. maybe try norse projects, olive spencer, apc, brands like that as well.

not the fanciest option, but for glasses warby is a good option, especially if there's a retail location nearby.
