Re: The Lab (fit experiments, feedback and suggestions)

looks weird with long shirt and tucked boots, legline is too short in relation to the rest. the tuck highlights the shape and surface of the boots (flat with a fairly untextured surface relative to the stacks of the pants) which looks awkward to me

Re: Veganarchism

I don't believe in "not using animal products" solely of a principle basis - I don't eat meat (or buy new leather/etc) because this contributes to animal suffering and is (generally) an environmentally inefficient option. I would have no issue with eating roadkill or an animal carcass I fo...

Re: Veganarchism

Going vegan is a significant contributor to reducing environmental impacts of your consumption - and this is a thing most vegans are extremely mindful of and interested in. It was a huge factor in me going vegetarian and the main factor in why I don't eat fish.

Re: Veganarchism

I don't think there is any point in stopping wearing the animal product garments you own. Purchasing new ones to replace them will simply be contributing more to demand and consuming resources unnecessarily.

Re: feminism and social progressivism thread

i don't think you get my point at all dude, and you clearly know very little about feminism. "if [feminists] are to have any real impact?" - you have heard of women's suffrage, right? seriously, where do you get off thinking you have this super informed opinion on what feminists should do ...

Re: feminism and social progressivism thread

the fact that you put patriarchy in quotation marks speaks volumes, and instead of trying to deny or minimise these experiences and absolve yourself of blame you should actually try listening to women on this topic rather than coming in argumentatively. i don't really want to address your points ind...

Re: Veganarchism

Main ethical issue IMO with eggs is buying eggs from battery/cage hens that are abused and treated horribly. Ethically sourced eggs (do your research in depth - 'free range' often can still mean shitty conditions) I think are okay, although a lot of vegans would disagree with me on that!
