Stores You Should Know About

Not much to say other than list some niche stores that are worth looking into. Let me start it off.


Most people have probably heard of Not Just A Label. The founder goes to grad shows and gives a platform for the young designers sell their clothes.

On a similar vein, there's also http://www.Muuse.com, they sell some RTW pieces from grad students, but most of the fun stuff are made-to-measure. The first time it launched a few years ago, they listed the prices of the MTM garments, which cost upwards of 500 euro for a simple dress and the complicated stuff were priced at 2000-8000 euro. Cheap, I know, but still worth perusing anyway.

Visiting Edmonton right now, and got to check out the original Haven. Not as much selection as Vancouver or fake canada, but this is the distribution point that all their merchandise goes through. They even have their studio here for taking product photos.
