I took some advice from my other fit with these shorts.



First Aid to the Injured/Yohji Yamamoto/Espadrilles/Black Sheep and Prodigal Sons.

I also threw my hair back into a bun because it felt appropriate. Shirt is double layered. Oh, the lighting is also a bit funny, but that shirt is black... certainly a different shade than the shorts, but not dark blue like the lighting seems to indicate. A bit late in the season to ask, but I'm always looking for ways to improve this since these are my go-to shorts when it's warm enough.

LVP pants are reading a little bit golden in the photos which makes the white down below look out of place; even if it's all grayscale, i think darker charcoal would work better. also think it's a hard sell on rolling a pair of pants with fabric like that where it works sometimes and not others, but i'm undecided here. nevertheless i think you just look so so much better with pants cut like that and encourage you to keep on 'them. could probalby do with more interesting footwear but what you've got is inoffensive.

fino i appreciate that those pants are painted on but i don't think the contrast at the hem is doing you any favors going into the docs, nor is the shirt peeking out the bottom of the jacket. think i'd prefer all "meetings" between things be cleaner: hem, tuck in shirt, button up shirt with top button. think it'd make it more finished (which is a look that favors the tight pants imo) and more aggressive to match the punkishness of the whole thing.
