just your standard shirt-hanging-out-bottom-of-sweater but extended; fucks with the waist a little bit. found myself with a couple of shirts that are longer than any of the upper layers so i've been playing with the idea of having them extend out past the bottom and what that might look like; usually interesting because of the bell-shape that gets put at the hips because of the ribbing of a shirt.

also liked the blue-light-blue-blue-light-blue that kinda mirrored the cuffs. also the shirt has pockets and the guernsey doesn't. thought about putting it in lab but was what i wore today so fuggit.

Those back up fits look more betterer to me, I think that my issues with the original fit you posted are the cuffs(might just be a photo thing) and the jumper doesn't seem long enough to me

agreed, cuffs are not ideal (but i can't wear the storys with sneakers without cuffing them or the get lost under the heel) and perhaps even the shape of the pants is wrong. The jumper's length is actually pretty good pragmatically but definitely less so as a visual thing, especially in the photo - i think it's the exposed button, because otherwise it is a good length for my torso and it's just the longer shirt throwing off perception. i have other options to put on top (like that longer sweater in the leather jacket pic) to just bring the waist visually way down, or a jacket but i don't really like the idea of button front on button front for that kind of excess at the bottom. worth a try, though, as it's definitely a work in progress.
