Went to the Haven store today for the boxing day sale. http://havenshop.ca/lookbook/fw-14-16-2/ I saw the dude from this lookbook and had a short chat w/ him about the Muji that just opened up in fake canada. Really nice guy, had a cool outfit w/ a hoodie under vest and a toque. Pretty surreal seeing someone you've only seen on the internet in real life, I don't think I'll ever get used to it. The sale had some pretty nice deals (70% off some undercover, nonnative, eg, acronym). Not many pieces I liked or in my size for the 70% off, but I did get a cav empt tshirt at 30% off. Its a really nice store, very clean design. Largest changing room I've ever been in it was crazy. Like 4m by 5m. Pretty dope place.

If I opened up a store it would have to be a market store where you could only buy things in packs. (5xwhite tshirts, 2x elastane blend bike relevant trousers, 2x black jumpers) and there's no changing room and additionally you can't pick your size. I pick your size for you. This seems like a bad service but actually it means you can offload your decision making process to incredible degrees allowing you extra will power which you can use to undertake actions which will actually improve your life.

As somebody who works retail, this would be the perfect workplace. I urge you to pursue this

If I opened up a store all the items would be housed inside a giant perspex box and you would only be able to handle them through gloves that were attached to the box like



This would be to remind people that there is no such thing as an objectively better or worse hand feel.

if i opened a store i'd nominally sell shoes but only really care about sales on socks and crappy Jarvis shirts oh wait
