As we can see from the development of subject Heck-9000 they'd probably go easiest with all story everything.

However I feel like they'd also fit seamlessly into an outfit from Folk or Wizwimmu or whoever. Could imagine soundclip wearing them

But they're a pair of wedge sole creepers so I think it would look cool to put them into one of those minimal monochrome man outfits as a sudden blare of personality. Hidden placket white shirt, cropped up black trousers, story creepers. Could look dope.

We opened the Slow Studio up for visitors this weekend. We had a few customers come by today and a care-meet group on saturday - all good. Here's a few pics from inside the studio:

Shout out to story for giving me something to talk about with a pretty girl who enquired about my jacket and other garms.

If someone from hong kong comes to the slow studio in the next few weeks asking about green time jackets you'll know who sent them :/

What's the officially sanctioned STORY first date? Vietnamese food and then the pub?

Obviously second date is invite them back to your place to teach them how to use a loom.

After the Slow Studio we all went and had vegan cake and vietnamese food. Bela knows us too well. We talked about looms the entire time.

EDIT: Also Katy's mum and her friend joined us and asked Heckawheel lots of questions. Just so you know - the slow studio and all slow events are mum-friendly.

We are more than likely going to be opening the shoes up for preorder in the next few days for around £230. They're incredibly expensive to produce so as before we're doing this for a lower price on preorders. Normal RRP will be closer to £300.

We have no maximum order so that isn't a problem - we've already sold a few in fact to people in person.

The reason I'm posting is that we'll probably have a small window for orders. Production is 6-8 weeks and the production time on the 0 jeans really freaked us out - so we no longer leave preorders open for very long.

We're back off to india in March to dev more fabric - but we're also spending a week somewhere else on planet earth to explore natural dyes and indigo (not Japan).

Also I'm sorry but no one has correctly guessed where we're going. I half want to throw up some of our research pics but you'd reverse image search and have it rumbled.

Re: how the material ages. We don't know. It actually washes clean with detergent which is one of the reasons we chose it, but I imagine over time the creasing and sun exposure would give it character. They're a throwback from the days where British lads would wear their best shoes and keep them 'tidy'.

Couple of you have felt how light, soft and great it feels. It feels like lambskin to me (except thicker).

I've added a deposit option just to the shoe project because it ends before most peoples paydays and we don't want to extend the closing deadline.

Shoes sold great! A large 'fashion' contingent bought them actually. The catwalks editor of a certain company grabbed a pair.

Also we have them coming in another colourway!

In other news we've been tussling with copycats and charlatans (can't talk about it) and excited by our trip next month to India and another undisclosed location! Also spent the eve with our pattern cutter and she's getting to work on:

'British Jeans'
'Nice Trousers'
and a pair of coveralls we haven't named yet. Also an upgrade for the Time Jacket.
