I eat vegan and wear leather to vegan places all the time. Most vegans aren't that militant - although I've certainly met a few.

Went out at lunch and tried on a pair of dries van noten snakeskin brogue captoes. Black iridescent colour that has tones of brown, burgundy and silk in it depending on the light, natural welt and a big crepe sole.

Similar to these ones stocked by Browns but with much smaller scales (it doesn't even look like snakeskin from a distance) and with broguing.



The toe cap is just repetitions of the perforated "cap" section.

Describing them makes them sound horrible and if one saw them online (if anywhere stocked them) you'd look over them but in person - wow. Extremely comfortable too.

That makes it three dries shoes I can't choose between now.

Very dark slate grey suede derbies with the same crepe sole and a square-ish toe

Black plaintoe leather derbies with a tan ripple sole

Oh, or but probably ones with a captoe and more interesting upper design. I like the ribbed commando sole though.

Unless things have changed they'll still be CYC, so same as an RC hoodie basically.

supreme hoodies are a little trim but by most considerations are very nice. large hoods, gusseted sides (whatever), slightly long in the body and sleeve, and i'm pretty sure they are still produced by CYC (they are made in canada at least)

i really like these guys but probably don't need more supreme hoodies.
