anybody know anything about sanders? i believe they're a reputable northants shoemaker (read somewhere that they make shoes for thom browne). if so, these seem a reasonable deal at £150

sanders does a lot of contract work, very much like alfred sargent. high quality work, very consistent.

not sure about thom, i thought his were made by AS but mcnairy shoes, for one, are manufactured by sanders

i really want a pair of their playboy chukkas

Saw them pirx, was going to shout you but didn't think they were your size?

Agree with hiroki. Sanders are good. I have a pair of their military spec dress boots (which I imagine are a little lower specced than their other lines) and they're fine. English made northampton blah blah.

have similar worries about the shirt... my bright pink OL almost never gets wear and worried this one might be a similar story. have you seen the olive bomber from this season and the white cargos? both looked like something you'd wear when i saw them. and ended up getting the blizzard parka instead of the shield one, here's hoping it works out. also kind of want the embroidered shirt blastoise linked.

/uk ppl those sanders now £107 in store, which is a real bargain. sizing runs slightly large but not enough to go down one IMO.

Should I save a lil for CDBs in black leather, or get a shit-tier military boot quicker like ASOS? CDBs are obviously are pretty ubiquitous in caramel but I'm not too excited about suede, especially now. Haven't seen anyone wearing them in black or in leather, but I've been thinking about it and I feel like they would be pretty versatile and relevant to my interests. Neither are my ultimate goal, eventually I'd like a nicer military-like boot.

Also, does anyone make cheap knit joggers or other type trousers like Zara's only ridiculously long, like 36-38 inseam?

alright new user on here so sorry if this is in the wrong place or doing something wrong, but i'm looking for some darker-than-most-lightwash jean.
Example:

https://uniqlo.com/us?product=086394

I'd link the above as a url but it says i can't

I like the color as it's still "lightwash" but not that light where i know my friends will tease me for it being women's jeans
Anyway budget is pref <$100 but can go up to <$130. I'd appreciate it to be cheapest as i'm trying to change the direction of my wardrobe. context would be "palewave" type of fits or whatever you'd like to describe it.

Sorry if i'm posting in the wrong place!

Looking for tall, black, backlace boots without a zipper. Any leads? Needs to fit an 8.5D

Brands that have done them that I know: M.A+, Carpe Diem, Alexandre Plokhov, Andrew McDonald, Lost & Found

Of the listed, the only two I see ever sold are M.A+ and Alexandre Plokhov and generally speaking, these are out of my budget. There isn't much info on Lost & Found (at least for me). I'd gladly take secondhand if it keeps the price down. SuFu has a C-Diem backlace but it's a size too large. I can't figure out sizing for Alexandre Plokhov as I'm a 41.5 and nobody seems to have info on his sizing. If anyone knows Plokhov's sizing that would be wonderful (at the very least, I'll know if I need insoles).

Ann Demeulemeester's Vitello boots are out, I don't like the side-zip and apparently her quality is pretty poor at the MSRP. Thanks!

This euro Everlane has appeared and I like their hidden placket shirt. Feel like buying five of them and then reporting straight to the future is curatorial thread but £66 isn't really much of a deal unless the fabric is particularly luxe.

(Why have the sized it down on their model tho. Shoulder seams don't match up, sleeves are too short. Cosco. Also don't bother looking at any of their other stuff because it's all button down collars and most of them look well dubious.)

A couple things this side of the holiday:

Any high street shops carrying chinos with a higher rise?
Or Good sweatpants? Sturdy, with a decently long inseam.
1460 or 1461? This keeps me up at night.
I've got maybe ~150 in combined LL Bean store credit. I was thinking about one of their Town and Field blazers in navy or the Country Walker shoe.

Related, what is the tipping point in becoming an old fogey?
Addendum: Also have a Uniqlo gift card.

Even though winter is halfway through and it has only snowed a few days in Denmark, then I still want a pair of boots. I've found these used Diemme roccia vets: Image

They only cost $48 + shipping and they are size 41, but not sure if they fit considering they have leather interior and I'm a size 41½ in sneakers and dress shoes.

Thanks everyone for the help. Got some stuff on sale:
As far as a blazer goes, I'll wait until I have a job with a dress code. Tried on the Country Walker and was underwhelmed. Doesn't really fit in with my style right now.
Still on the horizon:
Chinos (Dana Lee? Gap? Death to five-pocket chinos)
1461s (There are so few days that I need boots)
A nicer pair of glasses. Tortoiseshell most likely. I wouldn't hate getting help with glasses, feeling pretty satisfied with half-rims. My current pair is plastic and I fear for their safety every day.

not the fanciest option, but for glasses warby is a good option, especially if there's a retail location nearby.

found this collateral concepts jacket but was too late and missed out on it

I'm looking for something similar. Pretty much a cafe racer with a slightly taller collar, very minimalist. Preferably in a black, durable leather like horse, cowhide or kangaroo. What i really liked about the CC one was that it was different than your run of the mill band collar leather but not in the collar-literally-in-your-face julius/a1923 type way.

any ideas brah?

Well not sure what size you are though I think you're a 44 or 46? I think there's at least 2 CC on Stylezeitgeist and if you've got the money Albert/Chinorlz will make you one.

Other brands.. Isamu Katayama Backlash and Incarnation will probably have something for you. Lots of thick, juicy leathers like Guidi offerings and "German calf."

There is also 10 Sei 0 Otto and Kazuyuki Kumagai Attachment. IIRC KKA uses the leather that Ann uses, or maybe that's 10 Sei. The other just uses some other tannery. Both use Guidi sometimes but in the last season or two KKA stopped because of rising prices or something.

I'd check Backlash first since they're quite... biker inspired and probably more likely to have what you want. Incarnation having come from Backlash mixes up the biker theme with the more in-your-face, though perhaps in a more CCP way than, say, Julius with the hammering and distressing.

I've been looking at these boots as an alternative to a pair of Diemmes. They appear to look really similar and I'd rather not drop an extra $200 or so on them unless the difference in quality is REALLY worth it. The thing I'm concerned about is the material they're made out of and would like the opinions of those who are more knowledgeable about fashion than I am. Personally, I think they look good, my favorite part about these would probably be the white wedge soles, but like I said before, the canvas makes me question their versatility compared to normal leather or suede boots.

Look fine tbh. The fabric is kind of cool in my opinion, could look good with some techy stuff. I imagine Timberland quality is decent made in china quality though I've not touched any of it.

Frankly you gotta look inside yourself. If you think they look good and they are in your price range what is stopping you? If you'd rather have leather/suede shoes then don't kid yourself, save up. But if you just want hiker style boots with a wedge sole then I'd go for it.

I am really lost as far as what I want for a mid weight jacket. Looking to spend about no more than $185 (I know it's not that much but I'm still in high school).
For a while I really thought I wanted to wear a field coat, so I got the alpha industries slim fit one, and I am not digging it all. Something about the way it fits, I feel doesn't really mesh well with what I want my style to be. I decided to return it and am now looking for a new jacket.

I really like this one from Saturdays Surf NYC. But olive is not in stock and I don't know if I am a size large for navy.

I know saturdays is kind of basic and a little over priced, but I really like their aesthetic. Could anybody help me find something similar, or something I might like in my price range, and my help my wardrobe?
Thanks
