Both are about the same price and a good deal in general, but I'm not sure if I have the money for both.

A) Image in that color. Cotton. Throne collar and such. Just a cool white shirt.

B) Image in black. Wool. Has a closure (or a closure on each side?). While wool, probably will be a cool piece of knitwear to wear in S/S.

Any idea where to buy some shades with a frame like this, (clear frame, maybe different glass) for somewhat cheap?

Also, where can I look for clothes like he's wearing without breaking the banK?

(update) last time in this thread i asked for advice on . arrived—defective, lace loops were torn—sent back—my size isn't available anywhere but i'm also disenchanted and sad. trying to convince myself i didn't like the toebox anyway

on to the next potential purchase! considering these two overall-like things.

white:
+ my ideal skirt length
+ more standard/"classic" overall shape
– not as sleek, am not a huge fan of the chest pockets
– i wear a lot of white tops but would an all-white outfit be too much? what if the whites don't pair well?

blue:
+ super cool cross-stripe back!
+ beautiful color (it's also available in black but meh)
+ the converted-to-pants version looks cool
– still don't know how i feel about wide pants
– the super-wide legs might be too out there for how i dress now?!?!
– but is it weird to roll down the top to make pants? does it look awkward?

I'm in love with these two derbies from Barny Nakhle but not sure which one I should get or if it would be worth to buy these at retail which is around 1500$.

Looking for some straight leg dark navy (ink?) corduroys. I really like Old-Towns's plains (http://www.old-town.co.uk/collections/p ... cts/plains) but the 4-6 week wait is kind of a bummer. Orvis has a good looking pair (http://www.orvis.com/p/supercord-pants/8p70) but the brand has always struck me as an overpriced ll bean and ll bean's offering is cheap as shit but from the web pics they look a few shades lighter than what I want (http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/79803?fe ... atural-fit). any suggestions?

Ugh, I used to say I'd never BUT -

Good choices for a comfort/walking shoe (or sandal)? Wider toe box a must -

From googling pictures, these kind of shoes definitely look better on fit/in an outfit than in these shots

Some I'm looking at

Birkenstock Maine

Aurora Middle english

Any other ideas for this kind of shoe

Is there any reason I shouldn't get a raincoat in this light a colour? Do Rains jackets clean easily? Also how sweaty am I likely to get in this, armpit and yoke vents can only do so much.

Rains feel very plastic/rubbery, they're like 50% polyurethane

I can't comment on breathabilty because I don't own one but I don't expect it to be good

Cheap 3L shell from tnf/rei/Patagonia will function a lot better

Yeah I've handled them so I know how they feel, just never worn one for an extended period.

I've already got a cheap waterproof shell but it's the kind of thing I just carry around and only get out if it's actually raining, I'm after a light overlayer that I like wearing in general rather than purely as a utility, preferably in some beige colour and longer than waist length. Rains and Stutterheim are the only ones I can think of at the moment but Stut is pretty ££££ so I'm not so much about them. Are there any other brands that make similar coats?

Cheers for the suggestion but I don't think any of the light outerlayer pieces they have out at the moment are waterproof or even showerproof, none of them are the right colour anyway. The closest thing they had was the Shield Parka a season or two ago but that was way too heavy and also fit huge.

Look at our legacy hazard parka

ALSO
this bag has the same strap as an acr/bagjack bag. Might be a good alternative if you can remove the branding. No olive strap though :(

depends how you dress, what kind of shape you want etc. DMs are good of course or loake waverley is a decent all rounder, these can be had for a bizarrely cheap price from a very nice lady who runs a police outfitters in scotland (you should be able to save VAT too?)

i want to get a cheap m65. anyone have experience with the alpha industries slim fit ones? or should I just go vintage?

if you're a small person, even a small vintage one will be somewhat baggy - cool if you want something more relaxed. if you're larger and you want a slimmer fit, you can size down on vintage - they actually come in "long" variants sometimes.

if you're small and you want a slimmer fit, AI would be your best bet, though much more expensive.

i'm small as hell, but don't really expect a slim fit. definitely planning to layer it over blazers, denim jackets, and other mid layers. sounds like ai may be worth the premium. is the material as nice as vintage?

losing my mind trying to find an xs/s black (or wine) chester (or mac/sutenkara) coat/jacket for the season for under $200. more interested in 100% cotton, hemp, or wool. blends of those are cool too, maybe rayon or s/t. length in the high 80cms/low 90cms.

examples & more:

@Vaeltaja lad is exactly what i'm going for but i can't find it :( anything like the above photo will work fine.. as long as it's not the devil's materials (nylon, polyester, acrylic, etc). looking into trove now! -- is cool, a bit short, if i give up i might get it in navy.

Looking for a blouson to use as a mid-layer/summer jacket. Just bought http://www.cosstores.com/at/Men/Coats_J ... .1#c-22755, but I'm unsure whether I can properly incorporate the tech-fabric without it looking like a soft-shell. I was thinking something in maybe a grey or tan could be good, but haven't been able to find any brands which carry something like it with a long/slim fit at a reasonable price, which is the qualities the cos-jacket has.
