Syek hates cos shirting but at the price point I think it's good bang for buck. I notice the improvement over UNIQLO. MOP buttons, some nicer fabrics and so forth. Collars are a bit whatever but servicable (good collars only come in when you start paying dollars) The slim fit ones should be slim enough for you.
Wouldn't go near all saints for it but have no experience.

Thought I'd mention that is anonymously designed by Margaret Howell. Sorry if it's been said before, but a lot of people seem to be into her these days and it's a comparatively cheap way to get some of her look. In the UK it's currently only available in the Carnaby Street store. I'm not sure about other countries.

COS continues to disappoint... feels like there's not been anything new / interesting in months.
Some new stuff on H&M though.
Satin bomber
Collarless shirt
Pleated pants
Bottom two feel very Lemaire.

Any idea what COS quality is comparable to? Pricing is in kind of a weird spot, will be interesting to see if they fall into the annoying trap of running promo codes all the time, hoping not.

COS quality can be very good. Often made in Turkey or Portugal. Often looks better IRL than on the net. I popped into a store a few weeks back and things i'd thought looked boring where still boring but the texture / fabric was impressive.
Some of it can be a bit hit / miss but what you get for your money compared to everywhere else on the high street is very good. Pricing makes much more sense than places like All Saints or Zara (+ every other high street store).

Treat it like you would jcrew, for the price it's all right but it goes on sale often and that's when it gets good.

Received my common cosjects in the mail today. Can't comment on the quality yet, but from a first impression these aren't too bad. Have leather insoles, shoes are pretty comfy, and leather isn't too bad. They are a little bit roomy; I should have gone down 1 size, but fuck it. We'll see how these last in the long-run.

Sometimes i fee like COS is dead to me. It honestly feels like the majority of this season has been t shirts, polo shirts, chinos, bomber jackets. Maybe my tastes have changed but i remember it being a lot more exciting.

Innit. Still strong trews x knitwear at sale prices though. And if I had to dress for a formal job I'd clean up on their boringwear.
In other news, did anyone win the OTHER store spending spree?
