I caved and bought the public school x generic man creepers. It seems like I only want to wear black shoes these days.

I like this dip dye flannel but $325 is too steep for me. I think I'll go to the thrift store and pick up some flannels and try dip dying them myself.

wish this wasn't $700.

i saw it today and thought about trying it on, but my friend seemed so utterly bored that i had to leave. might go back tomorrow and check it out, if only because the SA was super attractive.

That junya is outrageous in every way. Is it 700 in Korea too? Thought it would be cheaper there.

Dwindles what's it made of?

Surprised it's not at least a wool blend, 100% poly is kinda cheap.

Marant looks nice.

Are merino wool tees a good idea for January-april in SE Asia? Ideally I'd just have 4 of them and wash by hand every few days. Also brands that do good ones besides outlier? Looking at some from ibex, dunno how their stuff is though or if they'll look too much like running shirts.

Never handled Ibex but them and Outlier are the two I know who are using 17.5 micron merino. Ibex is 160 gsm and Outlier is 200 gsm, so Outlier is a little heavier. Smartwool is 18.9 micron and 160 gsm, Icebreaker is 18.9 and 150 or 200 gsm depending on what season you buy it.

I have an Icebreaker 150 and it's cut like a regular t-shirt but is a little itchy, especially at first. Would definitely prefer a 17.5 micron. I think 200 gsm would be a little warm but that's just speculation. You can probably go longer than a couple days between washes if you have 4.

Drape on wool t-shirts is a little different compared to cotton, I definitely prefer the look and comfort of cotton tees over wool, but not having to wash them very often is a very nice selling point.

merino t's are the shit, I wore a charcoal icebreaker t for like 6 days straight two summers ago and I don't think it got smelly or too hot.

they have a heavier drape and are stretchier than cotton but I had no issues with it being itchy.

baby them in the wash tho- it ended up in the dryer and shrank about a size and a half. now it's my friend's.

if I could or cared to ball out on undies they would all be merino. that shit is magical

Things I bought recently:
carhartt red work jacket that I thrifted, Time Warner Cable pocket appliqué, felty kind of texture
nike purple/grey windbreaker, thrifted
beams+ olive green bdus
wtaps khaki ripstop bdus
wtaps olive drab field jacket
Postmans
neighborhood flannel
uniqlo blackwatch flannel
uniqlo black bomber

I really need a pair of slim black jeans.

I really like the air zoom flights than b4my posted in the sneaker thread, but I have no idea where to find them in the states.

What do we reckon to these Acne desert boots?

Are Acne shoes good quality?
