Prada is #10 more than the whistles. It's just the polyester issue.

I drunk kopped a pair of MIP 10s cuz they were on deep sale. Was planning on selling cuz I read about the long break-in, which is unrealistic since I wear flyknits most of the time and expensive sneakers rarely, and I was never into Jordans. But they're kinda nice, and I appreciate the craftsmanship, and I was watching the Kiarostami (RIP) film Certified Copy which made me think about replicas. Realistically, what do these go with if I don't wear blue jeans? How do I work the patina'd color into a wardrobe? Should I just sell?

I was really digging the gramicci GRANITEs but then they goofed with the pleather. are there any trekking/hiking-stylized sneakers that are all black? (or navy/black like this even)

My ankle boots are finally giving out and they aren't being stocked any more so I want to find something that will fill the niche.

idc if they're chukkas or chelsea boots or whatever as long as they're plain toed, this sort of brown colour and have a similar not-pointy-but-not-stubby silhouette. Material isn't that important but nubuck would be cool. I'm toying with the idea of RM Williams but I'm not sure I want to drop that much money so something sub £200 would be nice. I'm also looking at some Meermin stuff as well but more suggestions would be cool.

COS sweat pants. Convince me I'm fine washing them at the 30 degree washing instruction and I'll probably buy them. I always feel like 30 degrees is so low to wash clothes in. Like they're not really clean when the cycle is done.

Feel like a fuck up not buying this Lou Dalton bomber at 180€. It's probably gone from the sale now. But at the same time it seemed like a lot of money to drop right now for a garment I wouldn't be using that much the coming autumn and winter. How do you people feel about buying clothes that you won't wear for 6 months or so?

Pros:
- Dragons r cool
- Allows me to rep chinese heritage
- Nice oversized fit
- Sasquatchfabrix hype points
- Very auspicious red colorway

Cons:
- Actually I'm half chinese and can't read what it says. Apparently it's someone's name or something?
- Mysterious 50% polyester (don't know what Sasquatch quality is like)
- Only place where it's not sold out is Haven
- I just got an oversized navy sweatshirt and I'm undecided on the red one being too bright or not
- there's a very small chance that if I saw this in some startup streetwear brand's bigcartel shop I would have thought it was the tackiest shit ever

Sure I'd appreciate that, though I've pretty much already decided against mostly because I doubt I'd wear it enough.

is there a term for labcoat-esque shirt jackets with pockets? kinda like this silhouette
nah chore coats have upward facing pockets. and a wider shape. I want something drapey with easy access slant pockets
maybe story mfg chore coats. idk. this whole country has no idea how to make a jacket

Honestly that coat is not that bad, the whole technical-cycling-fashion thing is very lame, but it's not any worse than any other concept used by any other brand to sell clothes. All branding is exactly equal. It looks fine, is not too expensive and is probably quite practical.

Nothing wrong with "technical cycling fashion" in a generalized sense but don't give money to people using Kickstarter to sell clothes

What's wrong with Kickstarter? I mean I've never seen anything good on Kickstarter but I don't see any reason why I wouldn't fund something there that I liked, or am I missing something? Also I'm sure they had to put quite a lot of money into the video and page, but nowhere near €35,000, which is apparently what they need for their minimum order. The cost of producing a decent video or shoot can be extremely small, fashion photographers and videographers will work for peanuts if it's a half-decent brand. Whatever, I'm sure they could make a decent cycling coat without needing to make an order of 1000 metres of fabric. Surely kickstarter in theory allows people with less money to start a clothing line?

Few thoughts on this.

1. People have to get started somehow. Not everyone can get picked up by a store, and I think resourcefulness should be admired. Sure, some of the stuff is recycled trend upon trend, and therefore seems lame, but it takes a LOT of work to get off one's ass and attempt something like this in the first place.

2. Yes, I too am tired of the "simple" mediocre-looking bags designed for the twenty-something's privilege-fueled backpacking trip of self-discovery. Part of that is jealousy that I haven't gone on such a trip. But more importantly, Kickstarter brands often present their products much differently than your typical fashion brand. Instead of selling clothes whose main purpose is to make you look and feel cool, they sell PRODUCTS with solutions to specific problems. Whether that's keeping dry while biking... or an ergonomic camera bag. Even 'cheap raw denim' is arguably a clear solution to problems people are feeling.

I didn't buy that coat at the reduced price and now I regret it because in post brexit pounds it's unaffordable at the pre order price

Do any high street or generally cheaper do cuts kind of like this? $50 at the very most?

Image

Short sleeve tee, roomy in the torso, normal/high neckline, longer sleeves with drop shoulders. But maybe with less wide sleeves so it doesn't make me look even skinnier than I am (main reason why I'm not just getting this).

Oh also so I don't double post: navy or brown? And I know you will all say yellow but I just can't do it. Material is corduroy. Projected colors to wear in tandem: white, bright mustard yellow, grey-blue, "slightly faded raws" indigo, dark olive. Initial reaction brown but don't want earthyness.

I don't rate anything made of that PVC stuff for anything other than standing around in freezing temperatures. Sure someone will come in and say it's fine though because it probably is, but I don't see the point in putting yourself through that in 2016.

Just buy some acronym. The way they style it on the website is basically how you dress anyway.

otherwise some random ebay links that might be in your ballpark but you'll probably castigate me for suggesting
