Did anyone try the qlolemaire cashmere wool coat? Is it worth getting or are there better alternatives?

I doubt there's better alternatives at the price point unless one is very very patient or relaxes ones search criteria to "unstructured cashmere wool coat in a dark colour"

Anyone switch from FromJapan to ZenMarket for Japanese proxying? Any users of ZenMarket? I've been considering trying it out.

Probably gonna buy some stuff off Rakuten/Y!J soon.

Think it'd be cheaper to:

A) Buy everything using a proxy and then just have them ship me a big box

B) Buy most of the stuff through a proxy and the one (or two) items I can get without a proxy, buy on my own

As expected, the proxy (F-J) has quite a few fees and stuff, but perhaps the combined shipping would make it ultimately cheaper?

Help guys.

OKAY hi ct I'm doing a research paper in school and im doing it on fashion. SO i thought of these topics :
1) is fast fashion ethical
2) i could explain runway shows and how they are sometimes meant to be observed in an artistic point of view
3) something on the industry's most influential designers or maybe like WHO "invented" skinny jeans(is it raf who knows)

which one is the best? or if you guys hav any other topics please let me know!

this coudlnt fit in a rep so wow ok so my teacher said to do something i know a bit about and are interested and while that actually seems really fucking interesting, i don't know anything about Freud past his basic psychological ideas. i want a good grade too haha. thanks though i will give that book a read for fun though.

i think im going to do it on the industry's most influential designers though

combined shipping won't really make things cheaper. It's done by weight.

Buy what you can buy without a proxy without a proxy, then bundle all the proxy-necessary stuff together for convenience.

Anyone familiar with the sizing on the Veilance Mionn IS jacket? Corner has a 30% off code and I'm looking to cop some winter outerwear. Measurements seems deceptive given its insulated and Sufu can't decide whether to size up or go TTS. Not looking to stack up loads underneath but maybe a hoody or sweater max? I've heard the Mionn stuff is pretty compressible, can I fit this under a shell or an overcoat?

Looking at you . Where all my cold techninjas at?

EDIT: just found the Arcteryx Atom LT, it's p cool too. Any experience with that one either?

Man that's like the one jacket I've not tried on

Haven has their model in a medium at 6'1" 160 and it doesn't look tight on him so I'd probably say tts based on that. Mr porter and nitty gritty too

It's not thick so I think it would go fine under a shell/a non skinny overcoat

I have the mionn hooded vest
I went up one size due to availability but I have tried and fit TTS too. Insulation is very compressible. Easy to wear things over/under.
Sleeves may change things, idk.

I think it'd be harder to find things that it doesn't go with than does.

For the Margaret look wear with mid-grey/charcoal wool trousers and dark derbies.

been wanting a new pair of sneakers since my authentics are falling apart and while looking around I found that Eyty's are way cheaper than I thought. Anyone know what the quality is like (will they be able to handle occasional winter wear)? Also what kind of styles do they go well with in your opinions (looking at the black and white canvas ones)?

Snow boots becoming a necessity. I thought I'd be able to make it to Thanksgiving before having to get a pair but it's impossible to get around campus without a pair.

Docs decent snow shoes? Obviously not water proof but looking for traction/durability.

e:

Thanks guys, I think I'll grab a pair. I've got some decent smartwool socks that'll keep me warm.

I sometimes take cowboy to my usual spots

i actually found the jacket in middle-of--nowhere Mcallen

Good spots

Family Thrift Center near Willowbrook
Walk in Closet (Also near willowbrook, but both locations are good)
Goodwill in Katy near Guitar Center

be sure to check women's and the back of the store. People usually hide stuff back there

I can make a better list as i remember them al

I want some cool relaxed cut (not slim, maybe even something really voluminous) pants in some colour that isn't black, khaki, or green that are under $200. Preferably used... Preferably lightweight-mediumweight, preferably with some stretch in the waist or an elasticated waistband so they're comfy af. Something to wear for the remainder of spring and until it gets too hot for pants here. Also preferably second hand - link me your weird rak/y!jp finds (I'm an 80cm waist or so). Any thoughts?
