This is really specific but my momma gave me 100$ to buy a pair of practical shoes. I'm thinking something like an oxford with a platform or double monks or something. I want it to be something to make me look effortlessly (or try to be) cool in the summer with shorts or something but also something I can wear in the spring too. I really don't know what I want I just want it to be a more masculine shoe because pretty much the only shoes I buy are heels. Probably will buy online. I don't know anything about shoes!! Help!
I'm a women's size 8.5 US
http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/prada-platf ... ts-_-1_3_A - i want something like that but I feel like I have no idea what I want so any suggestions would be welcome!

sneakers are very practical and you can get loads of good ones for $100 that will work all year round.

& Other Stories do nice shoes sometimes. I don't know if they ship to the US, though.

is care-tags pretty slow on chrome for anyone else? doesn't happen with any other websites or browsers. sometimes the pages don't load and I have to turn off AirPort (lose my internet connection) so the page stops loading, then turn it back on, then refresh the page. then it comes back fairly quickly. if I don't shut off the internet, the new care-tags page I've opened is just "Untitled..." and has that loading circle animation. weird. dislike it.
anyway, my main question -- this american apparel cotton canvas backpack is everything I like and nothing I don't, more or less.
the shape is perfect, it has just enough space, the design is minimal, I've been wanting a light beige bag for a while and the straps look good with the color, etc. I could go for another pocket at the top for my glasses (like this but I'm fine without it, I suppose. problem is, it's unavailable in this color.
is there anything cheap & similar? what if I dyed a (see natural/natural) -- would there be a way to make it so the bag itself is the only part that changes color and not the straps? would the straps even change color? is it worth the effort?

are there any stores outside japan that stock schneider size 3? I know suspensionpoint carries some occasionally but that seems to be it?

check the women's stockists, III is technically women's in schneider's nomenclature but there are plenty of unisex pieces

Lad musician blazers seem to be long in the arms (but only a bit) and have functional button cuffs. Are they still supposed to be tailored, or just worn long? The lookbooks suggest worn long, but the particular blazer I'm looking at has never been shown.

i'm looking for ripple sole derbies with a black suede upper, and a white/off-white ripple sole with a contrast welt. something like the wood wood hudson boot but in derby form.
i'm aware yuketen does something like this but as far as i know they haven't done a black suede version. am i best off going made to order?

I thought my jeans fit well but after looking at pictures i'm having second thoughts. My main concern is that the crotch area is too tight. Is the rise too low maybe? Also I was planning on getting a hem soon although I don't think that will remedy all my concerns.
Should I try a size up? I want a fit similar to maj's although are body types are pretty dissimilar.
imgur's kinda bugging out so i'll just post the link to the album:http://imgur.com/a/LPo7g

If that's pre-stretch I'd say you're probably alright. As of now I think you're wearing them a tad high which is why the crotch probably feels too tight. If you want a baggier fit then yeah you're probably better off sizing up; the thighs won't stretch that much.

are there anyone 98% cotton / 2% spandex indigo/blue 511s? and if so, will bleaching them be as effective as it would be if I were doing it to a 100% cotton pair?
the main concern (aside from fucking up the bleaching process) would be that the spandex would result in this sort of weird vertical texture that a lot of stretch jeans tend to have, as seen below

Anyone have recommendations for a black or grey stadium/baseball jacket in the $150-200 range? Something with a 34-36" chest, preferably.
