I think you'd trim to to a normal length once it started growing out and/or just shave the entire thing.

Side story about hair: a friend of mine was pledging to ATO and they shaved patterns into all the guy's heads. So my friend who is jewish had all his hair shaved off except for a yarmulke shaped piece. Another kid had a huge bald spot shaved into the back of his head and etc. I thought it was hilarious when he saw him with his newly shorn locks, but I was also very drunk, so your mileage may vary.

Cut I got today. This is how it looks after being under a beanie for an hour or so. Much happier with this than my other cuts.

I cut my hair for the first time today. It didn't come out too bad but it's not good enough to share pictures of. I have really thick wavy-ish hair that limits me sometimes so I might keep it fairly short for a while.

Getting a haircut in a few days though so looking for ideas. Fallback is to get everything cleaned up (it's been 4 months since last cut) and just keep trying to grow it out.

This is the longest my hair has been in like 5 years. I don't know why I ever cut it short. I feel much more comfortable with longer hair.
