@starfox64 totally agree, to be fair the style I was looking at was a little different (the zurichs in black to the floor leather ) as well so that might have had something todo with it .. under $400? That's insane.. but yeah the price here on brands like Visvim is laughable.. as is the discrepancy between online/b&m pricing.

Anyone have any experience with Kiwi Sandals? Their
is pretty painful, but the final product looks alright (I think these are Snake's from SF)

I've been seriously considering a pair of rope sandals, like these gurkees, for a while.
Just recently I saw a great deal on some gray suede birks though, so I've picked up those. The gurkees are still on my "maybe list" though. I might pick them up next summer.
