The caption is actually "mama doesn't give me any teaching" (really clunking sounding in English, but emphasises that it would be something done to the son) which is a lot more suggestive.

In 2003, Abercrombie asked Slavoj Zizek (Lacanian-Marxist theorist) to write some advertising copy for their fall editorial catalog (read: soft-core porn).
![Image](http://dismagazine.com/uploads/2013/05/AF1.png)
They are kind of not safe for work:
Here's a link to the full catalog, which is chock full of corny nudity

wooo didn't know we had a magazine thread
my usual reads are popeye, brutus/casa brutus, grind, the day, inventory, monocle, fudge, hydrating, barista
ones i'm interested in picking up: 032c, space, apartamento, printed pages, drift
i'm probably also forgetting a ton
oh yeah, spectacle is good (it's by garrett leight optical so expect a lot of product placement but the articles and design of the magazine is generally well done).
edit: i just picked up a copy of what youth recently too. if you like surfing it's probably very good, although i picked it up just because it had mark gonzales on the cover. it's mostly surf and skate and related, the skate photos were pretty raw too

Got my copy of Eyescream Sept 2015 today. A lot of cool military stuff, there's an entire section how to live fully olive drab even down to your soap. That section also includes flintstone on a lot of different styles incorporating olive green but it's a lot of pages and I have to study for an exam, I'll try to upload it later. Here's the main story though with as good of pics as I can get off my phone.

Finished up my exam(think I did well if anyone cared...) so I'm back with the second part of the cover story thing! A lot of cool flintstone here. I'm considering getting a couple more mags, since I got this one used + shipping to the US for not much more than retail. So stay tuned for that!
Edit. Oops I missed the first page of the story, my bad.

NON Worldwide's NON Quarterly Vol. 1
PDF available for free download here:
http://non.com.co/quarterly/spring-2016Very zeitgeisty, paranoid-schizophrenic, postcolonial, queer, survivalist, etc. with art, fashion, poetry, and politics all sort of rolled in to one. I highly recommend a full read through but here's a few pictures:

I totally forgot about this until this thread surfaced again. But Hypebeast had a pretty decent article that talked about a lot of the major Japanese fashion magazines. They are all focused on men's fashion however. If you're interested in picking some up it might be worthwhile to take a look and see what you're getting into.

i basically found the ideal magazine of while in kyoto.
the cover hints at what might lie inside this issue:
a piece about white tee shirts:
but wait... is there... A SECOND, SEPARATE PIECE ABOUT WHITE TEE SHIRTS IN THE SAME ISSUE???
the answer is yes. 50 pages later.
