don't style it forward because it'll just look like you're trying to cover up your hairline, especially if it's visible through your hair. i'd say cut it short, maybe 2-3"? jude law and john slattery both have high hairlines and their shorter hairstyles work really well

OK I did some soul searching and decided to embrace the gargantuan forehead, ( hair regrowth treatments are the cowards way out). Had a shower and then tried laying the hair more out of the way to see how it looked, I think I might keep it this length on the top and ask the hairdresser to shorten the back and the sides. It'll be refreshing not having to worry about what's happening with the hair around my temples.
Thoughts?

Ok...I'm happy for you that you're able to own it, but...
I started losing my hair pretty early (21/22)and it fucking wrecked me. Maybe it was the first physical sign I was actually ageing, maybe it was that going bald was a sign of my own mortality, or maybe I'm just fucking vain. I didn't react well. So when I went to the doctor and he said I could take a pill once a day and I'd stop going bald, well fuck me I went with it. And it did stop. Most of it even grew back, and I got a hell of a lot of self confidence back with it. So yeah, maybe that means I'm trying to deny my own mortality. That's fine. But don't call a personal choice I made about how I look the cowards way out.

Not sure if I want to keep this style or grow the top out a bit and keep the sides extra short. Thoughts?

No idea what to do with it at this point, was seriously considering cutting it down to like 2-3 inches on top and a 1 on the sides but decided against it I guess. It doesn't look terrible down but I'm not too fond of it, but this side pony stuff is too fun.
Inspo...

I use Dr Bronner's coconut lavender leave-in conditioner / styling creme. Gives some shine and nourishment without being too heavy or greasy (at least on my hair). No hold whatsoever.
Also tried Aesop's violet leaf hair balm which smells super nice but doesn't work as well as the Bronner's for me (and costs like double the $$$).
Having mine cut soon, not going to have much off (at all) but its 17 months since I last had it trimmed and feel like I want a bit more shape through the back.
