Also upd8 on my miss-delivered Nikes: they came today - Finishline just sent me the delivery confirmation 2 days early... Weird.

it's really bizarre and amazing to me how much of my day revolves around clothes, especially a day off where i get to have some fun.
today, for example:
- went to an Alexander Wang sample sale
- visited COS, drooled, walked around and shopped in SoHo
- visited FIT museum (if you're in NYC, GO!!), saw their Dance & Fashion and Faking Fashion exhibit
- went to Buffalo Exchange and found a Dior Homme shirt (by Hedi Slimane!!!!) and almost threw up

Why is this fun for me? I'm not complaining but it's just so odd how much enjoyment I get just walking around and looking, even more so when I actually get to take these things home with me.

omg i'm so angry! like the only pair of trousers i've been really wanting to buy since august was those marni cropped pants with the loose fit in the flannel or whatever and i missed them with the lncc code but i got an email this morning about the marni 'private secret sale' with 40% off selected items (AND free shipping / returns) and the pants were in the selected items! and my size! but the code didn't work!!!! it kept saying invalid code but it worked on other stuff. so i emailed them and they said oh okay sorry we'll fix that for me but now they're gone in my size :(((((((

i have a professor who dresses kinda cool. very workwear. i usually drool over his beckmans and work oxfords and today (last actual class day) he wore some raws that I asked him about and he said were gustins. then he said he respected my APC's. what a happy day

okay so in the fury of missing the marni pants i got a schneider knit and scarf (one of those big blanket ones) in the other shop 40% off thing!

scarf looks great, not sure about the knit but as per marni example i'd rather get it and send it back rather than not get it at all...

what the fit like on his knits? all the pics are so variable. fabric always looks amazing but fit seems a bit normal... guess that's his thing though

feel like i only wear 2 outfits with some variation within them. rly want to add to the wardrobe but this college budget is vicious :'(
