Going to a wedding, tie is in the mail. Getting mixed reviews on the collar. Too tight, or that I should go for a spread collar instead. Opinions?

Seriously tempted to cop an EG bedford in grey wool herringbone for 260. Should I do it?

Does it matter when I was my Acne jeans? I've only had them for about 4 months, but this spring has been pretty brutal on them with all the mud and rain. I've just been wiping them with a cloth when they get dirty. Thinking of washing them soon, but I don't want to ruin any chance of sick fadez or whatever. They're Max Cash btw.

If you think they're dirty, give them a proper wash.

lol I mean, I'm not freaking out over here. Just wondering if I should treat them like raws or not. I don't want to accidentally wash them to grey 4 months in.

Cold wash/Woolite dark/hang dry and you should be fine.

This is from like 6 months ago so I don't know if the measurements are the same for this season - unless you're buying stuff from last season, in which case you'll be fine.

Patagonia has a bunch of different hoodies that they print on and I love them all.
The only one I currently own is made in turkey, and is 100% cotton. Not too thick, so it's a great spring piece as a stand alone, or works really well as a layer under jacket in winter because it's not too thick. Not so thin that it's nothing though, would wear it exclusively maybe down to 45 or 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
Their prints are generally really really cool, too. All of the ones I've ever owned only get softer and have more character with wash. Take them with me when I travel often.
Really lovely pieces all around, highly recommend. (smiling)
Here's a fit pic of my current one:
Also, ranger mocs are def appropriate for summer.

and ,
just picked up black 1970s chucks and they're super shiny.
does this wear away? how long does it take? I really dig the aesthetic of classic, worn in black chucks, but a lot of the features of the 70s ones appealed to me (namely: the raised sole; the vintagey yellow rubber; the more comfortable insole). will the thicker canvas prevent them for getting all beatup and worn in and faded and cool looking?????
the shininess will go away. They will take longer to wear in than regular chucks, but it's worth it. just wear them hard
do you have pics?

Yeah, sleeves can be rolled but think the body is too big. Reckon I could get it tailored? Not sure how much it'd be.
