Took a break from ~internet fashion~ for a little over a month, didn't cop anything in that time. All was going well, but now I want to buy a bunch of shoes. Shoes/accessories/outerwear have always been my weaknesses

There's this german second hand clothing website called Kleiderkreisel that's pretty similar to Grailed, but it's mainly focussed on fast fashion clothes like Zara and H&M. However there's still a lot of european brands like A.P.C., Norse Projects, Our Legacy and Acne being sold for ridiculous prices. Sweaters and jeans being sold for a third of what they would be on Grailed.

Loads of slightly used Acne jeans for 40€. Our Legacy sweaters in great condition for as low as 20€. How does this happen? It seems like the people on that website are in their own microcosm with regard to what used clothing is actually worth. Most sellers are not willing to ship outside of Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Lots of listings are like "hey I bought this 3 months ago for 180€ retail but I don't really find myself wearing it so you can have it for 35€!!"

You definitely won't find any obscure brands there, and obviously there's some hype Supreme reselling going on. You'll never find any Undercover or Visvim there. Stuff like Rick Owens still won't be cheap (though I've seen 9/10 condition drkshdw Ramones going for 250€). But it's actually incredible how cheaply you can buy basic high quality clothes on there with deals you'd never find on sites like Grailed. I bought my Acronym x Nikes on there for way below retail and once got an A.P.C. wool coat for like 50€ which I wore and then sold for 150€ on Grailed.

To me it's really interesting that our perception of what used clothing is worth changes so much from platform to platform

Am I right in assuming that there's a firm market price for most items on Grailed, and that unless due to unforeseen events such as a celebrity plugging a label, a documentary of the designer releasing, etc, that every item of the same condition will sell for about the same price?
