it seems to me like the nicer or well known the pieces of the fit are, the more ok it is for the picture to be lo-res. It seems like the quality is implied because the clothes are quality
If the clothes are unknown like thrift or something rare, high res cool picks are better in order to better appreciate the textures and details.
personally I'm a sucker for the OG c-t pics that seem to be just taken before going out the door. To me it implies a really utilitarian approach, like the clothes are great but they're a part of a realer lifestyle. That's more interesting than a staged shot. I like pictures taken in windows, maybe I'll do that.

Of course, shots by friends are also great fun, they're really two different things and I like the balance of the two on here

I bought some more shorts in size 35. I don't know if I'll stay size 35 for long since I'm shrinking. I was walking around in size 35 shorts last weekend and they managed to stay on me without a belt or manual help, but I was probably showing some underpants underneath my moderately-long-tailed shirt. Worst case, I start wearing belts.

On the other hand, I have some slightly newer shorts in size 35 and they're nice and snug and seem to stay that way, so I dunno. Assuming I'm never tumble drying them, do pants/shorts stretch out during the day? What if I do tumble dry them? Depends on the fabric?

Didn't realize alexandre plokhov went defunct or whatever the case is there's no F/W 16-17 or S/S17 nor is his label is on sense. His LinkedIn shows that he's into design consultancy as his latest endeavor. While the quality was great, better than Robert teller if I may, and altogether better than cloak, it's a sad feat to see.

A a long while ago I believed fashion is dead or in a lull. The lastest news on fashion brick and mortar retailers and retailers in down and down after their most important fiscal quarter of the year showcases just how tough the environment is. Fast fashion retails may be on the up and up but I couldn't give a two shits about it. I do see high end designers shifting to a Burberry order-from-the runway aka just-in-time manufacturing and expedited international delivery as global logistic networks improve. (Sorta like Apple drop-shipping and shipping CTO (custom to order systems) directly from China with online orders).

I think a lot of fashion retailers/designers will adopt to a Zara model of vertical integration and less wholesale distribution and more direct online sales by way of just-in-time manufacturing where markdowns at outlets will be a thing of a past in five to ten years to protect their prices and brand image from price discounting while retaining more margin and less overhead costs.
