If anyone cares particularly, I ended up sending the jacket back because we realized that the extreme puffiness was because a 34 was too big for me and I couldn't get away with sizing up on this particular jacket. ;_;

Back to the drawing board I guess.

I want some new jeans

I really like the fit of my unbrandeds in this pic

but I have to "sag' a little to get them like that & they're pretty tight and uncomfortable.

I was thinking about getting some heavyweight unbrandeds & sizing normally instead of down 1 in order to get that 'baggy" fit. But i'm not quite sure what I want because so many other denim brands are cool (apc comes to mind). if you have any other recc's, i'm not exactly looking to spend more than $200

I post in this thread so much

anyway, does anyone have any recommendations for low-top shoes that are more formal than, say, clarks weavers/wallabees but also less formal than bucks/oxfords/etc.? I dunno why but something fits into that particular niche in my head and I'm not really sure what it is but I feel like I'm missing it. I was thinking blucher mocs, but those feel a little too "americana-y woodsman" to me if that makes sense; I want something a little less traditional. I was thinking maybe oxfords w/ a vibram wedge sole, does anyone have any other ideas?

I bought this Wings + Horns parka used on ebay. Being Wings + Horns, it is a fairly slim fit, but the armholes seem to be high enough to pull the hood so it doesn't cover my head all the way:

In your opinion, would this be something over which you would resell the item? I'm probably going to be selling but just want a second opinion to make sure I'm not making a bigger deal out of it than it is.

Maybe something like Grenson Finbars? Look into White's boots oxfords, or viberg oxfords. Or something with a ripple sole like yuketen blucher mocs?

Back with my denim conundrum.

So taps jeans are super nice, but $390 is way more than I'd like to spend.

Image

While browsing Haven, I stumbled upon from lvc, which are somewhat similar, also very nice, and much cheaper.

Image

Only problem is the only two places that I've seen have these in stock are End & Haven both of which I could possibly have to pay customs on,which is a serious bummer.

Open to suggestions and all that

baby's first jordans, $90 for cement 3s, y/n? desperately in need of a pair of sneakers besides vans, might pick up stan smiths as well for cheap as beaters

Contemplating this ring. It's a casting of a carrion crow's claw.

Image

$55 for white bronze or $92 for sterling silver. I plan on getting it a very dark antiqued finish on it though.

Schneider scarf for £40? Never handled his 'accessories' before.

lol @ wearing in during summer but could be nice for autumn etc (winter?). I don't have many scarfs.

edit: yeah it's definitely gonna be lightweight as it's spring summer scarf but i'm not so into thick scarfs. last year i mostly used a thin cotton jersey scarf and i liked that. maybe depends on how thin it is when wrapped around. might be a bit of a pointless purchase though.

@ques yes they are pronounced 80's. Personally I'm not a fan of the shoes since mine got ruined after a months wear (canvas version though)

I've been seeing a lot of people wearing stan smith originals with a almost greyblue/darkgrey colored heel. Whenever I ask them where they bought them, they always say that it's the navy version. Am I color blind or something? Because when I look them up on the internet, then they are way too blue for my taste. Does anyone know if there are more colors than just the original 3? Like black heel perhaps?

i haven't bought much clothing lately and i'm trying to save for a couple big fall/winter buys when in europe, but i saw this shirt and the price is right and i sort of want more 'fun' colors in my wardrobe. worth it?
i'm 5'10 150 lbs should i get small or medium?

Does anyone have sizing advice for anything made by Dickies? My guess is they run a little large a la Carhartt, but I'd like to make sure.

I'm in love with this burgundy suede but can't help but feel that suede is a totally impractical material for a backpack?

anyone know what the sizing is like for these? I'm suspicious of the accuracy of maharishi's sizing chart (inseam decreases as size goes up :-| ) Also does anyone know the difference between the long skinny version of these pants and the "custom" version? Definitely like the design of these pants though reminds me of my beloved commuter cargo pants :D

Update on Horses jumpsuit: looked like an XL prison garment on me and not in an avant-hip way

Should I get these Blue Blue Japan trousers? Have been sort of fiending for something overall/suspender-y. I'd like them more if they were proper overalls, though.

I want new Foot Locker-core leather sneakers to wear into the ground this fall (thinking AF-1s or Reebok Classic something) and wear with Levi's 501s (in indigo and black). Black or white? Any specific models people like?

Really dislike the cut and collar of that shirt and honestly it just looks a like something from Zara.
