Thinking ahead a few months. Looking for a thick knit beanie, something looser fitting/somewhat slouchy so I can fit my hair under it. Something that would go good with my hair color and general palette too.
I like this from Fjallraven although it doesn't look too loose fitting and I already have a Fjallraven backpack so I feel like that would be too much
but I like the color. Cable knit might be okay. Around $60 or under would be best.
Also looking for a sweater that's decently thick and preferably has some texture to it. Anything that isn't charcoal because both of my winter coats are charcoal. I want something
interesting but I don't know what exactly (pattern/print/texture/etc.). $100 and under preferably. Open to a little above though.
This doesn't really fit the description but I kind of like this from Howlin', thoughts (also on sale right now)?

After actually handling TOJ, I've been sent into a panic mode wherein now I'm going on a smash and grab for everything in my size. Very optimistically looking for a DR of some form, an A2 and maybe a fishtail. Though my fussiness wrt features is proving difficult. I refuse to have a jacket with unusable hand pockets, so 3-zip with hacked pockets are the only option. Can anyone with a relatively slim 3-Zip DR vouch for it's hand-pocket-ability (?)?

Thoughts? Last time I asked about them people said they were p ugly but I think the product shots just didn't give them a chance.
I really like the silhouette and the relative slimness of it, I always feel like I'm wearing clown shoes with most boots.
e:
Also, ordered my birks finally after sleeping on the idea for a while. Though Amazon says they'll arrive between Sept 16 and October 14.... I really sincerely hope I don't have to wait over a month for these guys.
Funny story, at school we had fashion disaster day and I counted 4 pairs of birks + socks on people. Kind of made me eager to wear'them.

They look OK from the top, but the main problem is the sole, don't look as good from the side
I would email amazon and ask about that

perfect, thanks, I actually asked in that WAYWT what pants those were.. but do you know which model they actually are? All of the ones on their site look to be a little more slim/tapered than what he is wearing.

Anybody have any recommendations for a long tan coat that is decently warm, (mac, duffle, etc). I don't want a lightweight mac, but something like this wool mac from APC would be ideal:
Unfortunately it's out of my price range, looking for something up to about $200-250. I looked up gloverall on ebay to find some duffle coats but I think all of them would be too big for me. I usually wear a size small

recs for pants with silhouette like the seenmy fits in the first half of this album?
http://imgur.com/a/MPxuJ#0Although honestly he might just be extremely skinny and wearing pretty normal pants....
Also, is he just pinrolling or is there actual taper on these do you think?
I have a random pair of thrift brooks brothers flat front chinos that achieve the silhouette well

I scored a Howling By Morisson scarf for #15 and it feels pretty good and chunky. Probably worth retail if you don't get something with a pattern that ages.

What are my options for tech-looking messenger bags <$400USD/CAD. Going to be using it for school and day to day use while cycling.
Current frontrunner is the , but can it stand being outside in 30mins of downpour without wetting out? That's an extreme case - I expect the bag to see ~15 mins in drizzle at a time regularly in #raincouver. I would also like to see higher tech fabrics, but I for $175 you can't have everything I guess.
Other stuff I've looked at:
- Bagjack/ACR is out of my price range by at least $300, but if price was no object I would def get a Bagjack NXL Reflector.
- Chrome looks like garbage to me. BLCKCHRM is slightly nicer but I'm still not 100% on looks. Buckle is super duper tacky imo.
- CoteetCiel's rucksacks look cool af (I have one) but the messengers look kinda boring.
I've been out of the "game" for a while so my brand knowledge is low. What am I missing?

Suggestions for c o o l and minimal bracelets/whatever around/under $50? Maybe one leather and one something else. No idea really, open to all sorts of things, just been thinking about it recently. Something that'll match what I'm usually into though.
any brands or anything you'd recommend?

Green chambray/textured shirts (preferably with no double or buttoned pockets)? Have only found them done by higher end workwear/outdoorsy brands like norse/gitman/vis but I really like the natural look of them under a blue cable knit for fall, especially in more of an evergreen shade. Preferably under 100 but interested in any finds

If you have no objections to fast fashion, these Uniqlo corduroy shirts are pretty nice. Or at least they were last year. Nice texture + weight but not too much so.
This green is in stock.
edit: sry about image size - this is imgur large thumbnail but appears pretty big.

PART 1
Looking for wool(-blend), flannel, or moleskin cargo pants with a 34 or 36 inseam, please advise. Preferably in charcoal (first choice), olive, or jewel-tone green. Big bonus points for machine washable. Anyone have any tips? I think Uniqlo had something like this a while back but I didn't see anything.
Found
http://www.grayers.com/shop/russel-wool ... pant-2097/ out of stock.
Found
http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabelas- ... 753775.uts with only 32 inseam
Found
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CLUB-MONACO-Gra ... 35db7cc2e8 but inseam is too short.
Found random vintage milsurp from foreign countries on eBay but mostly with ultra short inseams and questionably heavy wool.

so for lad's current season they have "stand-collar middle" and a "standard collar" styles of polka dot print shirts.
very on the fence on which one i want to purchase, because there are pros and cons to both.
stand-collar middle shirt :
O : it seems as though the pattern + deepness of the grey is more defined.
O : stand-collar is such a great shape, and i would love to layer my black turtleneck under.
O : hidden placket.
X : it's slightly cut longer than the standard shirt. so it has a bit of a more oversize/longer silhouette on me. (which isn't necessarily bad)
standard shirt :
O : pattern is still great and translates well to the shorter hem.
O : i always know the standard shirt is more of a regular shirt i could always throw on and like.
X : no stand-collar, hidden placket.
help.

Hi c-t, Uniqlo just opened near me. Got to check out their new pure blue japan stuff. How did I do?
Jacket, t-shirt, and jeans are from the store.
I only ended up getting the dark grey t-shirt. On the fence about the jacket.

Re: last post.
Here's their "pbj" t-shirt since people are interested in that.
Fits like their supima shirts. Feels rougher, as if Uniqlo made LVC

Found a Uniqlo +J polyester blazer thing for $26 pre owned but great condition.
I don't know too much about the collection, anyone know about quality and how much of a barg $26 is?
fwiw, I dig it. Its just a bit too long in the arms (which I can fix) and I'm not sure how much I'd wear it.. or how to style it. Trying to make smart buys.
Thanks :-)
