That's funny. For me (and all French people I guess?) these bags are called sacs Barbès, ie the place where they are sold, the African neighbourhood of Paris. In Barbès there's a general store called Tati which gave away these bags. They are unbreakable. So when I think of this pattern I think of African mamas and people who take the ferry to Maghreb with their cars filled with these bags



so to me it feels like marc jacobs took the piss of people who sold LV fake bags by making a counterfeit copy of the bags they used, the red white blue bag
