I go to school in Maine, 20 minutes from Freeport. I see it so much everyday that I kind of forget how nice it is. Almost everyone at my school has a pair of Bean Boots. The thrift game around here is great because of that though, almost impossible to go without finding a few sick worn retro coats.

Despite not owning a ton of bean (just some flannels and katahdin boots), I'm really digging them. Especially now that it's winter time in Minnesota and dressing up in complete ll bean sounds very appealing.

Bean boots are a staple for Greek life in the south.

I was on the ll bean (signature tho) instagram because i was wearing ll bean sig chamois

I like the signature chamois. they're a bit slimmer and I like how they fit oversized. regular chamois are too short for my arms. both feel amazing though.

visited their store in burlington a few days ago, really nice stuff but this year's lambswool sweaters are super rouugh/itchy compared to j crew's. Little uncomfortable under a light tee. Also why do they have to make a cabernet instead of straight-up red sweater? It looks purple in sunlight.

i found a navy chamois cloth shirt at a thrift store w an embroidered duck
but then for god knows why, i cut holes in the front and ripped off the pockets
i have a charcoal one now i might exchange for another navy one. My blackwatch flannel is great and i still love looking through the catalogs they send me every now and then. I go through and circle everything i want just like its christmas time.

I think I have... 3 flannels, one chamois shirt, a button-down shirt, and two sweaters? Half of the reason I love visiting my grandma is that she lives near a thrift shop that is STUFFED with LL Bean. Lionel Lionel is the greatest. The only reason that I own Woolrich stuff is because I live in Pennsylvania and not Maine.
