they are way better looking than the old acne desert boots with blue or orange stripes and soles. can't vouch for the quality but I don't put too much stock in the notion that the spectrum of quality for shoes is all that high.

syeknom you seem to vouch kent wang all over the place, do you have experience with his gear? I like the idea of mtm jackets. looking at his site it looks like they're mostly more formal wools and shit?

I've not tried his MTM stuff (think it'd be too costly with sending back and forth from europe and any customs hits) but everyone on styleforum has nothing but praise for the suits/jackets. SisterRay on mf has a trial suit right now from him.

It's mostly formal wools yeah, though some other stuff I think. Not everything's on the site you can see a full list of fabrics

Some Dana Lee pieces for cheap that I love. Can't decide if I really need them though.

Both look really nice Ryce but really very basic.

I'm liking this Stephan Schneider shirt from the new suspension point delivery:

Agree with Syek ryce, that stuff looks like it could be runiqro. I mean it's not so if you really wanna then why not but I support the notion that you should hold your file until the weird shit comes into range.

That SS shirt is great Syek.

I like both of those garms ryce. buying final sale is always a gamble but nothing beats a well designed and constructed basic when it fits you perfectly

I would be happy to pay 200$ for PRPS jeans if I wanted to wear PRPS jeans. I think their quality is pretty good, they are geared towards the 7/tru crowd but those cargos are cool, maybe a little skinny I'm not into the painted on cargos

Thanks man, good to know. Think I'll pass, not feeling the distressing the more I look at them. Weirdly enough they also don't list measurements for that fit on their site.

that jacket seems really cropped. though maybe i'm just saying that because it's on coverchord and most nonnative jackets seem too short to me.

been thinking about these a lot lately though:

Oh yeah thought it might be them but couldn't remember the name.

Looks cool but who wants to pay $700 for a weird looking sneaker. People would laugh in your face if word got out.

Who does the resoling? Do you have to send them back?

Interesting that we all do our best to not let anyone know how much our clothes cost.

It's a gloomy world out there.

Sometimes I think that my adidas could be resoled as they appear to have stitched on soles but I think you actually need to do more than that to have a resolable shoe. Would be cool to have a resolable common projects, though that sort of thing never actually works out cheaper. Would just be nice to have the same pair of white sneaks for years and years.

Looking at more pics of the hender the sole unit looks v smilar to a dress shoe sans heel so I think it could be done relatively straight forwardly. Quite cool IMO.

not sure if this is really what i want from my sneaks but i think its a cool idea.

wish cps were resoleable, though, because yeah the leather on the uppers is really nice.

I've handled the hender af1 and new balance models, they are nice but US prices are definitely nuts. they seem fair if you can get them via proxy or something.

all shoes are resoleable, a cobbler won't be able to replace a CP sole unit or undo/redo the stitching but a decent cobbler will be able to match the color and you shouldn't notice it until you get it up close and look for it.

resoling most shoes is just a matter of slicing part of the sole off and gluing leather or rubber back on. your average cobbler won't be able to properly restitch a Goodyear welted shoe but he'll probably do a damn good job resoling your shit
