I'm kinda into this sweatshirt. Maybe the sweat shorts too, but I don't know if

a) wearing them together would make you look like a little kid in pajamas

b) white sweat shorts are a terrible idea

c) how to prevent my junk from being prominently displayed in sweat shorts/pants

I'm in need of a new pair of black pants but not sure what to get. I like my acne max cash and my N&F but I feel like trying something new. Maybe some cargo pants or some tapered sweat pants? But then again it's soon summer.. So many some small leg width shorts? I'm really bad at finding anything for my legs...

I don't know what I want.

I've been looking for new shoes since forever but I just never seem to actually cop some.

I've been considering mainline B/W Ramones, black/grey/urine ccp drips, number nine ones or some good ol' 988s. And I love every single one of them, I just don't know which I'd prefer or which would suit my style best... anyone have opinions or another pair you'd recommend?

These H&M linen trousers are pretty cool, I'm not convinced on the reg fit so I might get them tailored if I do buy. I'll probably cop but first, does anyone know any other similar breezy trousers in the same price range (£20-40), potentially in a similar but slightly darker colour? I want to check my options.

I strongly advise against taking £30 linen trousers to a tailor to get them tapered. Uniqlo had linen trousers last year. Zara will for sure.

I see, how come I shouldn't get them done?

Forgot about Zara, they've got loads.

Yeah but the HM ones are a lil too breezy below the knee for my liking, I tried pinrolling and it just made them look more billowy.

Adolfo Dominguez will probably have some linen stuff too.

Firstly I'm morally against tapering trousers.

Secondly it seems like a false economy because if you can't do it yourself the tailor will surely charge at least 15 pounds. Is rather just hold out.

Nah I was just noting as an aside that they're baggy and thus wouldn't solve dig's problem.

Still looking for sandals.

Maybe Image ? How's Margiela (leather/build quality)? Wish that had a backstrap though, but it looks reasonably nice. My Kiwi sandals just don't fit nice.

any recommendations for a bag similar to Kapital's "snufkin" bag?

and its page on Kapital's webstore, with some more photos too: https://www.kapital.jp/e-store/detail.p ... ategory=28

I like that it is a sort of in-between size so that it works well worn as a tote or a cross-body back-sling type thing. also the minimal detail but rustic vintage-y feel and the amorphous shape. looking for something sub-$100.

Why do you feel there is no point to drips?

But yes, have been thinking about some substantial combats as well.

Definitely considered it. Problem is, I don't really like most models because of the flashy patterns etc. In my world that leaves me with AF1:s, which I really like, but I doubt they'd suit my style plus I already have a pair of chunky kicks.

Maybe you had a specific model in mind?

Thanks for the thorough reply!

I see what you mean on the drips, though I don't fully agree. Feel they can work great as an accent piece in an otherwise slightly toned down outfit.

Examples. And I honestly think OXS:s looks kinda crappy.

Maybe should have specified a bit as well. While I like the street stuff and dress a lot like that I'm really looking for something a bit more sleek to get a more versatile wardrobe. As of now my only level of dressing are "geobaskets", which kind of sucks. I feel like a need something sleeker to compliment that - hence drips/ramones/guidis ^^

Looking for moccasin-type shoes (wallabee, blucher, camp, buzzword, crepe, etc, etc). Brands I've checked out: quetzalcoatl/Sebago, Visvim, Yuketen, Clarks, LL Bean, Quoddy. What good brands am I missing? Just looking to get a feel for everything that is out there.

I'd love a pair of black leather slip ons with white sole. But I'm not sure which ones to get. I'm not a fan of the vans sole but the price appeals to me. I'd love a pair of Diemme but their price is so high for a pair of slip ons.. Anyone know any black leather slip ons inbetween those two?

I want a cool shirt for summer and I like this, seems like it would be interesting enough as a piece to not need to wear anything else with it for those hotter days. I think I'd cop, but the problem is that I can only find it on the Yoox US site. Their shipping info says that the address needs to match the site country but it's all held in a warehouse in Italy so I don't see why they shouldn't be able to get it to the UK. I've emailed them asking but has anyone else managed this?

Failing that, would anyone be prepared to proxy?

Alright, so after searching for the Oliver Peoples clear-framed glasses I tried on a pair in 45mm, which were too small. I doubt the 47mm will be enough, so now I'm looking for a pair in 49mm. I know that Oliver Peoples has the O'Malley model which is 49mm, but the price is simply just too high, wouldn't want to go much above $60 and rather closer to $30-40.

Image

Do any of you where to get some 49-51mm clear-framed (blue-tinted clear plastic is also perfect) sunglasses in this style?
Non clear frames also work if the style of frame is identical.

Even the replicas only come in 45mm..

Looking for a baseball shirt similar to this, preferably in a solid color and under $50. Debating getting the one from AA but I'm not sure about the fabric/sizing.

Any recs for some black or green cargos, preferably in a technical fabric, either tapered or with a cuff at the ankle? Something Acronym-ish without requiring me to empty the house deposit account.

When I was on this same hunt I found the best cargos that look like acr were found at your local millets/blacks/generic outdoor store, those technical mounty trews in a lightweight fabric have cuffs and straps, pockets all over. Found a lovely pair of crag hoppers which looked litterally "just like acr", made swishy noises and everything. V good.
