Where are they made? I agree with Bela, $350 is really high for shoes if they're not made by an actual, good shoe manufacturer

no idea about the origin of the shoes. none of their stuff says where it is made, though, so i am guessing china or malaysia or something. i wasn't planning to buy them in the first place, just noting price.
here is a pair of their desert boots for reference

Schneider. Still being released right now, the woollen ones are from mindtrive but I guess I'll be able to get them later in the season from either the Antwerp store or other stockists. Don't know whether I like the wool or cotton ones more.

ah i see. I like the wool one - the speckles are quite nice.
my phenomenon shirt came in. only lined in cupro on the sleeves so it's a bit scratchy :( still a great pattern/weave though.
list price was 25,000 yen, so i'm happy with the 70USD i paid for it.

at what point are you going to go full on pendleton/visvim?
slightly unrelated but why do gay dudes like turquoise jewelry so much/why is that a stereotype?

I've never heard of that stereotype but next time I fuck a stranger I'll make sure to check his jewelry box for you.

Acne often reminds me of the laid back chic that apc cultivates
also reminds me of rag and bone in that it's a luxury / fashion brand who's women's is almost always more interesting than the men's
it's also a denim brand; acne also puts on runway shows; they also make interesting suits and stuff
it's hard to find a common link with all these things.

Yeah exactly
They also remind me of Lanvin a fair bit in terms of styling
plus they publish photography books, and have a magazine
and then there's the semi-unisex aspect of the clothes, and the way the women's seems to operate half a season ahead of the men's. i get the impression sometimes that the men's clothing is marketed towards women - fashionable women who like to wear men's clothing, and hep women who want to play dress up with their boyfriends

Isn't every brand's womens more interesting than the mens.
Agree with the above acne comments. Often like their tailoring. They're a little bit more interesting than most overpriced boring wear too.

Googling Acne Matteo revealed this monstrosity:
Mr Porter's styling is eerily similar to Yoox's
