What I really like about Adidas, aside from the minimal logo, is that it always feels like there are cool, totally amazing items that no one knows about and you can *discover* for yourself.

adidas has always reminded me of the cool soccer coaches that I would have when I was like 10, so its like the dopest brand ever basically.

i see way more people in adidas (stans, superstars, trackies, tubulars, qasas etc.) in NY than i see people in nikes/jordans (at least where i'm living). the europeans are winning the culture war and i won't stand for it

Feel like adidas have so many more iconic looks and shoes than any other sportswear brand. hope they can retake their place at the top in the future.

Do you guys buy from different sportswear brands? feel like there is obvious lack of synergy between some (nike/adidas easiest example) but are there acceptable combos?

Actually in Herzogenaurach, Germany where they were invented the rivalry is bitter, no self respecting person would wear the other brothers clothes. You wore puma, or you wore Adidas.

Living in Germany it's actually amazing to see just how popular adidas is around here. It's like every kid is in a football club wearing adidas clothes and shoes. With young people you'll see them wearing adidas trainers more often than not and really from my perspective the only sportswear brand that even comes close to having such a massive presence regardless of location (big cities and tiny villages) is Nike.

It feels like every one around here has a drawer full of vintage adidas hoodies and sweatpants.
