So for my birthday my parents are getting me a suit of my choice (probably like 250/300$ max). Can I get anything cool for that or should I just go to nordstroms and look for something? If so what is considered classic? What to avoid? I want to find some style that will let me walk into an embassy and ride the metro around DC and not feel like ive been homeschooled or something. Maybe unrealistic. Help! (smiling)

If you have a cereal bar with chocolate only on one side, when I eat it, should I eat it with the chocolate side touching my tongue or the other way round (cereal touching my tongue) ?

What do you guys usually pay for 'filler items'? Like what's your base price when looking at a garment that you just want for it's quality/usage. $25 for a basic t-shirt? etc.

hey guys, looking for some recommendations

Love the look of these, but I don't need the leather sole for where I'd wear it. Any recommendations in the same range?

Camel canvas jackets in $80<x<$150 range? The more pockets the merrier! I'm looking to cram a gray hoodie under it. I'm thinking RgT will have something fantastic come f/w.

Some that I've liked:

Also going to be on the hunt for some hunter green twill pants, gray chambray pants, light wash straight fit jeans, and probably a Levi's trucker. Always excited for the next season, haha!

Looking for a cheaper alternative to this Yang Li shirt. I want it to be short sleeved, oversized & boxy, preferably with pockets. Colour is less important. Any ideas?

Shoes that would go with indigoxblack denim? I know that jeans are very versatile but brand new indigoxblack always looks so dark I dont know. Planning ahead for the BOM008s.

I have my all black and all white vans and am going to grab some wallabee runs in black. I have my indigo dyed vans but I don't know what the color of those will be by august.

Where are some good places to buy used women's clothing? What designers (for women) are similar to Margaret Howell? Also if anyone has good gift ideas for a female SO who likes Margaret Howell around $100 please share

Since it's so hard to buy clothing for other people, I might recommend getting her an accessory like Christophe Lemaire coin purse or Building Block tote. If you feel very confident in her size and preferences, there are a lot of women's sales that just started: Maryam Nassir Zadeh, APC, La Garconne, and lots of good stuff in the Totokaelo sale as you've noted. There is usually some Margaret Howell on eBay too, hit or miss obviously but worth checking out. Vestaire Collective is sometimes decent for used women's clothing but it can be a lot to wade through.

Looking for a nice pair of black cropped pleated trousers, any personal reccomendations? I'm looking at a pair of trench trousers by juun.j on grailed but not sure if my 31-32 waist will fit them :/

anyone here have experience with baby/talc powder in their shoes for sockless wear?

i thought baby powder was mostly starch which concerns me about buildup, but damn it feels good.

washed a bunch of white and light t-shirts earlier and they came out the washing machine with pink stains on the armpits.

i switched anti-perspirants recently so that could be the culprit, but now that it's happened does anyone know how (if its even possible) the staining can be removed?

Why would you EVER want a Cordura BASE LAYER? They're quite ubiquitous on eBay and I have to wonder if there's a good reason for that...

PCC is on right now, for a couple more hours.

edit: oh yeah i forgot my question, haha. does anybody know anything about "Kuwalla T" shirts? They're heathered and soft, which is a plus for me, but I'm wondering if anybody has thoughts on longevity, etc.

Do you guys have any pieces that you bought 1-2 sizes up that still fit relatively well and or were workable?

Looking at the Dana Lee henley tank top and the Dana lee baseball jersey, both would have to be Larges and I would fit a small. Wondering if it's worth the risk.
