Do we have a boots thread? If so, I have no idea what it's called and when I search all I find is Clarks Dessert boots.

Need some waterproof boots. Since I live in Utah I guess that may be smart. Would love and appreciate some recs. As long as they're waterproof, I could go either more fashion-boot or something more technical (still gotta look dope though). So far I've considered Nike (not WP i don't think) Doc Marten, Timberland, Cole Haan (came up in a search, idk if they're good or terrible), adidas, clarks. Not really wanting to go the Red Wing/Wolverine route of anything too heritage-esque. Maybe milsurp? I dunno, I'm fickle.

Why isn't there a real form of "half sizes" in European measurements? I mean like there's a 44 waist (approx 28) and a 46 waist (approx 30) but no 45, why? Makes more sense with chest sizes, but less with pants. Also shoe sizes... why no 8.5/9.5/10.5, etc? Or am I having some really weird confirmation bias going on?
