not super fashion related, but here goes: I need some loose, lightweight pants and long sleeved shirts (not button downs) for doing fieldwork in a conservative part of the middle east. any recommendations? preferably something that's at least somewhat aesthetically appealing and breathes well for desert summers. I'm familiar with the basic outdoor brands (patagonia, la sportiva, prana, bla bla) but i'd like something a bit less practical looking. thus far i've primarily worked in cold wet climates so my old stuff doesn't really apply.

i'm okay with flap covered pockets like those.
every trouser i've owned with flaps on the front pocket openings like that have had stowable flaps, though. makes a difference. not sure where outlier stands on the matter.

i recently got a pair of cotton/linen blend trousers and the caretag says at one point "iron tender so as not to alter the texture of the fabric" or something like that

what does it mean to "iron tender"
does it just mean to iron carefully? google has yielded no results thus far

can I get some comments on how this suit fits? I'm not sure. People have told me the jacket is too big but it feels pretty fit. Maybe the arms are too long and the body too long as well. I think the pants are a good length - they are 30, but I'm not looking for them to be too long. please help i have weddings and interviews coming up. also, is this a good color? navy is the go to, right?
