Looking for a slouchy cardigan sub $200 similar to the nonnative belted ones. Can't find any on stockists, so I figure I should spring for an alternative. Also, any recs for suede boots sub $300?

Also, use the "large thumbnail" version, so that the picture is appropriately sized. It'll link to the full version.

What are some good options for a plain(not covered in pockets) black or olive parka (preferably fishtail) in a technical-ish(ie Carhartt, ace x alpha) fabric for less than $350? I was looking at carhartt and ace hotel x alpha industries but they're both sold out in my size.

http://shop.ccs.com/product/model:192806/sku:62-23386/I have it in an olive camo and I quite like it. Size down once for a normal fit or TTS if you want the oversized m51 look.
Jrisk has it in black;

keep in mind, it's really just a shell. you're probably gonna want to layer or get a liner. I wear a fleece under mine.

I'm thinking about asking luxire for a placket shirt. all the ones I've owned or handled have always been too trim and in delicate/formal fabrics.. looking for something a little more wearable
oxford is an obvious choice but wondering if anyone had any ideas. has to be a little thicker / more textured than a thin broadcloth

Do you mean hidden placket? Have considered that myself though I would go for delicate/formal fabrics. My issue has always been length: need to be short enough to wear untucked

how big are designers' production runs? I mean obviously it varies piece by piece and designer by designer but let's say a medium size designer that's probably familiar to everyone on here but maybe not to the world at large. thousands? tens of thousands?
