Margiela Converse are up on TBS. 235 euros is a lot when the gats are 320 and even when you take off VAT they're 188 which becomes $260 CAD.
Would have been fun if they'd just sold the JPs and the chucks as 1 item each and not told people which colour they were getting.

Seems like everyone is doing mixed media and contrast sleeves, although I can't think of many examples of these that look good. In particular I think contrast sleeves work better with raglan sleeves. I say this while wearing a contrast set in sleeve baseball tee wishing it was a raglan.

Full length black trench makes you look like a school shooter. I know the 90s are coming back but still...

No I wore long black coats, baggy khakis, chunky black trainers and lots of thick silver rings. Bad times, especially when I started to experiment with facial hair. Ugh.

At least you didn't dress like an abercrombie fitch model despite being too awkward to pull it off.
Edit: On second thought, I think "dress like an ambercrombie fitch model" is an oxymoron.

have to admit tho, hollister/abercrombie jeans are a good budget option for prefaded/damaged jeans and if the tees had no branding they're made quite well/good cut.

Yeah, their denim isn't that bad although from when I last shopped there, even their unbranded clothing was in this category of awkward.

Saw a girl wearing white birks walking down the plaza today. They looked awful and out of place. I was sad.

Why is Isabel Marant's stuff "price available upon request" at Steven Alan and Totokaelo? (But not at Barney's it seems?) Is it meant to create an aura of exclusivity? Like a "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" sort of deal?

Yeah, that's why I'm really confused by it. Especially at Totokaelo where its pricing is par for the course. (Although, in terms of the "price available upon request thing" you just have to hover over the text at Totokaelo and it'll show you—which IMO, makes it even more pointless—but at Steven Alan you have to call and ask.)

brands sometimes ask certain accounts to not sell online (c.f. EG for a long time, RRL, etc.) for various reasons, whether it is for exclusivity, for competitive regional pricing (presumably why DvN stockists in the EU don't ship abroad) or just to honour the first accounts who kept the brand afloat early on (EG and Drinkwater's; Rick Owens and the shop in LA which supported him, i forget it's name, but as far as i'm aware they're still the only people licensed to sell rick in LA)

don't allow EG to be sold online either, only via phone order.
