I started looking at vintage stores online and I think I'm done buying any mid-layers or outerwear new. I'm going to start looking like old pictures of my uncles.

It does seem like everything that would look really normal worn today - 60/40 4-pocket mountain parkas, Levi's truckers, fair isles, big cardigans - comes from the 1980's? Maybe I haven't looked enough.
