New Raf sneakers, I don't know what's going on with me where I'm starting to like his sneakers. Would consider if they weren't like $600.

sknss i like men's non-no. i've looked at sense (or black sense or whatever it's called) a few times, but that's not really my style. people seem to like popeye but i have not looked at it. these are all obviously men's magazines; i don't really have a clue about women's stuff. although i did read a rather fawning article about hedi in vogue from this month i think.
what's the deal with black fleece? is it still being designed by thom?

Inventory and New Order, cool photography and interviews. Off the top of my head in the last two issues I remember there being interviews with Hiroki, Raif Adelberg (wings + horns), Damir Doma, Nigo, and Scott Sternberg. Some of it is a little too next level for me, like this article Inventory did on that just went way over my head.
I have a GQ subscription and think it's ok. Sorry guys.

gq and esquire both have well-written and interesting articles but their fashion departments (which in my salad days were my favorite parts) are clearly targeted to people who are not me. the place where i get my hair cut has a subscription to both i think and i enjoy leafing through them when i am there.

That Buzz Bissinger article was great. I should carry a picture of that guy in my wallet to remind me to never become like him.

That Buzz B article shook me to the very core of my being. Made me desperately long for a detox.

it just made me really sad. it's like reading about a middle aged heroin addict who still can't kick the habit.

On a semi related note, sometimes I feel like pulling a Kendrick Lamar and quitting designer fashion. Just wear simple shit. I really don't want to get caught up in some imaginary consumerist steez race. I say this right after buying a thom browne sweatshirt on ebay so it probably won't happen.

Bought some APC New Standards that were worn about 10 times from a guy. He threw a pair of well worn ones in that look dope. Now I don't care about my 'relationship' with my clothing I just wanna look cool.

Bought outlier pants and shorts and they are cool, idk why they get so much hate.

Who hates on outlier?
Oxford seems like a weird fabric choice for a dress shirt. How does the hydrophobic coating work on the blazed shirts? I remember reading somewhere that it's on both sides of the fabric, so that if you sweat the shirt doesn't absorb it, it just runs down the shirt. Sounds kind of weird.

That sounds utterly revolting.
Are you really going to bike somewhere and get rained on then just rock up dripping like "yo where the party at"
It's like the EDC torch of clothing.

Oh excellent, thanks for posting that I've been looking forward to this. Really nice collection. Love the shirts and knitwear. It also reinforces my need for black derbies perhaps with commando sole like those models are wearing. Saw a similar pair of Dries ones yesterday and my brain is all over it.
The berets are really cool

quite like this our legacy coat
But I ain't about the 449 price. Feel like I am ussuntdollf unwilling to pay more than £100 for shirts/knits/trews, 200 for shoes/outerwear. Which is pretty small potatoes once you try to stop shopping at uniqlo.
Maybe with more prolonged cop freezing I'll be able to extend this range.

I love our legacy's designs but the quality is hit or miss in my experience. Def not worth retail.

i can never understand paying retail for our legacy, norse projects, apc etc. They just feel like the more expensive gap. Acne has interesting stuff but most stores dont pick it up.

what is the clarks desert low model called? can't remember for the life of me. i loved my supreme mali low's but they got really stinky after i wore them all last summer without socks, and also they are too small.
if anyone has any other ideas for simple and casual PTBs that i can find in large sizes or widths, let me know. i've been on the hunt for the Perfect Suede Buck for a minute now. honestly i'm even considering the Bass Buckingham.

I've got a beat-to-hell pair in my hands and can't see the model name. They're my most worn shoes though, really comfy and beatuppable
Edit: I think it's the Jink model.
