k so my trusty 6-year-old marc jacobs keystrap/fob/chain broke in the middle of the Great Runaway Cat Fiasco of 2014.

now i'm looking for a new key fob. the marc jacobs one was actually really awesome because it was very, very sturdy. the button never came undone and the keyring was very strong. i take really bad care of my shit so breakage is always a possibility; with something as important as keys i can't take that risk

i just can't find a key fob that i like. i've found some plain black leather ones on etsy that are backup plans, but i'd like to find something cool. i think i'm being picky:

1. it must be pretty infallible, shit shouldn't even have a chance of possibly becoming undone/falling off
2. minimal branding (none at all preferable)
3. preferably black (if metal, super shiny silver would be okay. also a sucker for holo...lol)
4. not too fussy, i like simplicity (don't like buttons/studs, dangly things, etc)
5. under $30ish, not looking to spend a lot

found this guy while digging around sufu. quite like it but another post says the color rubs off kind of quickly



i also kind of like the marc jacobs carabiners, but they're expensive in the good colors and i wish he didn't have to slap his fucking name on everything

I wear this necklace fairly often. It's a little bit "etsy" (you can find these on any gimmicky novelty site like vat19 too), but I still like it since I actually play blues harmonica. It's functional and actually plays surprisingly well, though a little high-pitched for my (and most people's) tastes. Made in Germany.

I've been on a Helmut kick lately.

I've had the same marble guages for the last few years that I'm in love with. I've always liked stone as a plug material because it seems very archaic, and true to the roots of ear stretching. I've been looking for a new pair, but don't really know what I want yet.
