My list is below! Items that are bulleted and bracketed are optional.
Shoes
- three season flat soled trainer (eg vans slip on, Adidas samba)
- "leather" "formal" shoes (eg black derby, boot etc)
- (activity shoe that is useful eg running shoe, hiking boot)
- (extra outdoor (not slippers) shoe eg sandals, summer shoe, boots, winter shoe, "fun" shoe)
Socks
- winter socks

Leg wear
- 3 season pair trousers (slash pockets)
- winter trouser (eg heavy wool Japanese archival)
- summer trouser (eg lightweight Maharishi Sno pant)
- shorts (non sport )
Next to skin upper
- 2x long sleeve collared shirt (1x date appropriate)
- 5 - 10x t shirts
- (thermal t shirts, linen shirts or shirt sleeve shirts depending on climate)
Mid layer upper
- Winter jumper (eg thickest jumper you own)
- Midweight jumper (eg Uniqlo Merino wool)
- Layer with a fastening that can be worn under outerwear (eg overshirt, cardigan, hoodie)

Outerwear
- Winter coat (warmest coat you own, must go with 3 season trouser and winter trouser)
- "weather proof" coat (must go with all three trousers)
- lightweight jacket (eg Chore jacket, casual blazer, harrington, North Face) (must go with all leg wear)
