Gorgeous but I fear too small for me (size 2).
Check out the underarm seams and seams on the back, stunning.

Jesus christ, this thing is incredible. I don't know how (or if) anyone would wear it though.

That is Boro, and it's beautiful. Pieces like that go for hundreds-thousands although you can pick up the fabric in japan and make one of those yourself. They're usually used as futon covers and stuff.
I wish hunnish's joke wasn't true, but I already have a hoard of boro...

I haven't dealt with Y auctions, but those KAPITAL jeans are really amazing. They have some which they coat in kakishibu too (something I've been using for my own collection in places) which are really cool.

I don't know that model, but if I had to guess I'd say it had a green hue because it was dyed with natural indigo. Natural indigo can give a 'green cast' or a 'red cast' depending on the method used, and it's a matter of some taste.
Kakishibu is a coating/dye made of unripe persimmon, yeah. "Wet strength" must mean water resistant, because that's what it is, and it's pretty amazing stuff. The problem with it is that it has a really odd odour, although I've found it dissipates over time.

what impurity what make it green cast? excess copper? i feel like the indigo would oxidize to blue either way unless something were occupying it but i am not a chemist so i can't guess
