If I remember correctly the levels were

Purple Dot - £125
Green Dot - £85
Yellow Dot - £55
Red Dot - £25

Suit jackets and trousers (mostly what I looked at) that were ex-shop floor stock without defects were 125 for the jacket, 85 for the trousers.

Ties, scarves, t-shirts were all 25

Didn't look at any MHL stuff or the faulty stuff so not sure about that

bought a Margaret Howell tee last year and at the time i knew the cut and stuff would be sick, lovely neckline and boxy fit with short arms perfect for wearing tucked or free. it impressed me but i still felt lmao @ £70. fast forward to today and i've found out the wife has taken to wearing it often since i gave it to her so its been washed several times and DAMN, that shit stays soft. fabrics rarely impress me too much as i have a stupidly low expectation for "good enough" i dont really spend to much time thinking about it, but i felt the need to comment on this.

asked me how it was when i got it and here is the updated review. 10/10 would buy again

Super pleased to hear that actually, and since I've myself spent €70 on a t-shirt recently (for design not fabric) I can see the appeal of getting a damn good one like that.

ITT Major suggests that you should spend 70 pounds on a t shirt because it stays soft after you wash it.

I guess supreme tees get harder the more they're washed?

i've posted a few things before but yeah people don't seem to be so keen. i've never actually owned anything but people seem to be disappointed with quality etc.

that linen coach jacket looks nice. looks like they're into the crinkle this season too.

re: ymc, i'm a fan and have a couple of their pieces (coach jacket from ss14 and the trackie bottoms from aw14) and i've got my eye on several ss15 pieces - just waiting for it to go on sale.

both of those were bought on sale and that will always be the way with ymc - at full retail its so overpriced for what it is, but then most of it goes on sale (usually ~50% off on their site) and it ends up being really good value (same approach to pricing as COS i guess)

their stuff is generally pretty nice though and always easy to wear/pull-off, but they're a slightly odd brand, with no real direction of sorts, it just seems to be Fraser Moss making whatever Fraser Moss wants to make with maybe the occasional post-punk reference thrown in, and i'm not convinced that they're quite as 'trend averse' as they claim.

I like ymc because they make lame basics with little twee twists that usually come in hardy fabrics that don't need to be babysat. My favorite ymc pieces all share in common that they feel like really good thrift/vintage items
