I used to like boxers, but they ride up my waist really badly and stick out over my pants. Boxer briefs are obviously the superior option, though i often wonder about briefs.
I'd like to get a pair of silk boxers to wear to bed so i can feel super luxe

Synthetic material > Cotton for underwear. Doesn't ride up, stays, doesn't smell, keeps your package packaged, comfy.
My favourite is probably my underarmour boxer jock, 2nd is CK Modal boxer briefs

icebreaker boxer briefs are sweet but they're not really durable enough to commit to wearing exclusively

Recommendations for cloth-covered waistband boxers?
I find boxer-briefs to be too tight.
I usually wear US Polo Assn boxers with the tags ripped off, but I feel like there ought to be better things.

I was actually really hoping this would become a thread.
I also want to know what people wear to sleep in. . .is that creepy though?
I try to get as pretty and girly and matchy-matchy as possible re: underwear because I wear what is usually a very toned down and restricted wardrobe of outer clothing. At the same time, I've been considering switching to exclusively sports bras because they are flattening and I sort of like how that looks on a girl. I also really enjoy boyshort underwear—being so covered up feels very secure.
I do not enjoy buttons on underwear. It is a ridiculous phenomenon and they get caught on everything.

Agreed, buttons on underwear are evil.
No creepiness! I wear only underwear to sleep in, although from discussions with people I find that amount of clothing worn to bed is often dependent on a) comfort level being naked, b) personal history, and c) sheet choice.

I wear either only underwear or nothing to bed. I need better sheets though.

I have those Hanes boxers that come in 5-packs. As far as sleeping gear goes, boxers in bed are the best when it's warm enough indoors. (Otherwise, getting up takes a Herculean effort)

uniqlo airism at all hours of the day, especially since the sheen on the black and charcoal ones makes my dick look like batman and when an unlucky girl returns to my place she's all like "wow, those boxers" and i shake my junk at her and do my best christian bale impression like "SWEAR TO ME!"

Until very recently I had no idea what FUBU meant.. so yeah, most of my boxer-briefs are FUBU. -__-

I would sleep nude except my 120lb dog sleeps with me so that'd be kinda weird. Sleeping in a sweatshirt is the nicest feeling on cold days.

I wanted to start a business making men's underwear with blown up prints but I ended up ditching it
boxers with a proper fit can be comfy but obviously you can never try them on for size so boxer-briefs are normally more comfortable, but I don't have any pairs that look good

i go commando most days of the week unless it's really cold or im going to be sagging my pants. no matter what size underwear i buy they all seem to ride up at some point in the day and for me that is one of the most uncomfortable things in the world

switched to pretty much exclusively exofficio boxer briefs recently. people who say they don't smell are fucking mad tho. Mostly like the fact that they are quick dry when I travel, so I can take only 2-3 and be set on underwear for weeks on end. Sleeping in them exclusively is comfortable. I sometimes sleep naked, if its hot or I'm with a girl, but i much prefer to have a little penis and butt coverage, not sure why.

Surprised no one has said saxx. Comfiest underwear ever, it's insane.
Also pertaining to sleepwear; I'm surprised no one here wears PJs. I like nothing better than rolling out of bed in my BB blue stripe pajamas and putting on a RL dressing gown, drinking a cup of nespresso, showering, shaving with a sandalwood soap and an Edwin Jaeger DE before heading out the door because it makes me feel more stable and successful than I am.

Oh, I suppose I never answered my own question. Large t-shirts and sleep shorts/scrubs, not too exciting.
I do, however, own some red and blue striped Hanna Andersson long johns, which are the best pj's ever.
