this is fun and cool. you can see the comme influence pretty strongly in some pieces especially the ones with the square/circular panels. bet the materials reinforce this in person. this wide-sleeved crop-top thing needs to die already though and for the first half of the show i wasn't that into it. it ameliorates tho and 2nd half is way better, esp the last half a dozen looks. would wear the green sweatshirt and j'aime la vie tee if they were made for me. best look:

agreed on the crop top thing. i like all the looks with a hat (backwards and the visors). the first circular cuts look a bit wonky imo, maybe because the fabric is too stiff to fit well (like )

springcourts fit very well with brand, the small french flag on the tongue is fun

i didn't realise at first but the hats were actually made for the show, rather than just props. i wonder if they'll go into production



yeah i don't love the cut-outs; i like the ones with the overhanging panels ( and ). the fabric choices are interesting cos they're so stiff and the colours are so flat. probably cos they're so cheap

-Simon emailed Raf when he was 19 to tell him how he respected him, sadly Raf did not reply as it was just before he arrived at Dior (not the greatest timing).
-Minimalism imposed itself to Simon when he first started: he went to see a seamstress and asked her to make the fewest details possible because he didn't have a lot of money. His challenge consisted in making the same dress 6 times - he had to find a way to make it likeable and different each time. He likes repetition and that's his force.
-Jacquemus' style in 3 words: naive, raw, ultra-simple, but not simple. Simple would be jeans and a white tee whereas ultra-simple would be a strong look and not so easy. He likes things simple literally.
