these are happy socks but I don't recommend them. They're pretty flimsy.

honestly, i don't think the birks work there; the thicker straps and thicker sole + granola connotations seem like they should be matched with something a little more...windblown, relaxed, blurred. the top half is weather appropriate but the very trim, slightly higher shorts and trim shirt aren't playing nice with it. the ol' white sneaks standby would work nicely here, or boatshoes if you were feeling fratty. collar's pretty small so i feel something low profile is best - maybe rope sole espadrilles?

They are separate but they're pretty close.

I wish I fit into the pants that go with the jacket but they're super baggy on me. Such is the curse of twig legs.
