It's just that when they're in town I have more of an excuse to wear it.

My step dad hates Thom, or he would if he knew who he was. He's always complaining about suits these days being too slim and short, he's a real trad Brooks Brothers kind of guy. But I think he pretends to like it because at least I'm still dressed up.

There was a pretty funny thing I read a while ago (I think in GQ but I don't remember) about a guy wearing Thom Browne suits around and just feeling the disdain that everyone had for him (whether said disdain was real or imagined was unclear).

The BB in downtown SF just started carrying it, but there's a standalone black fleece boutique in pacific heights.

yea usually with shirt i wear a black blazer, which is oversized but maybe helps streamline things. the shirt is mad billowy

its polyester. i think it helps with the drape, strangely, although it doesn't breathe as well. good thing they're basically pantaloons. they have a very fine pinstripe. cinch waist

The trousers are the best bit teck, really good. You look a bit like a sumo wrestler going to the bank.

Shoes are the weak point here, feel like creepers/black derbies/ann d would be the way to go.
