One thousand apologies if there is already a thread for this, I haven't come across it.
Do you own any scarves? How do you wear/'style' them? Are silk squares coming in for men? My mum says yes.
Cashmere? Crepe de Chine? Modal? KNITTED?
Please post lots of cool pictures/your thoughts on scarves

My scarves:
Two Schneiders, one Howlin', one Seasalt. The Schneider on the right is one of my favourite items of clothing that I own - it's disgustingly good fun to wear.
Feel like scarves are something I really want more of and to have more options with. During cold months I rarely leave the house without one on.

Ended up returning this because I just don't see myself as a summer scarf type guy just yet. Shame though, it is beautiful.

My scarves:
Grandma, Urbe (Turkey) (blanket scarf), Uniqlo (stole)
Vintage (Sweden) (blanket/poncho), Indus (Pakistan) (blanket)
Love the scarves in the new SLP collection:
Nonnative Wanderer Cape is one of my grails (although it could be made relatively easily):

Beautiful piece. A bit less $$ and I'd seriously consider it.

i only know one way to wear square scarves which is to fold them in half (forming a triangle), pull them around your neck and tie like a keffiyeh.
i'm sure there is a way to wear them like a cravat but i have NFI

I pull it around like that but without making the triangle, using one corner of the square. Looks a lot less shemagh-ish.

I like scarves.
I don't have anything too exciting though - from left to right: H&M (similar print to but only black and navy), grandmother made, black cashmere (no info past ) and H&M again.
I really want to get something like or like what has coming out but I have no income, so that's not happening this winter.

the way I wear silk squares is just to fold it in half to make a triangle then there a few different things you can do
FOR EXAMPLE:
wear it OVER ur jacket cos u just don't give a fuck
Casually under your jacket, so wearable!
SWING IT ROUND UR NECK
style it under ur damn coat
These are all really easy, don't require any knot tying, easy to take off/put back on, u will look effortless as fuck and not like a dweeb
disclaimer: these are all travail en famille scarves, we purposefully make them larger (some of these are 120cmx120cm) so that they are more wearable, if ur fooling around with some struggle 90cmx90cm shit then i can't help u
if you wanted to wear a silk scarf like that I think it would need to be under a jacket or pinned somehow, silk is too light to just hang around on your shoulder like that unfortunately, but if you wear it under a jacker just over one shoulder it could look cool, or you could hold it down with a bag strap

I'm looking for a nice big chunky grey wool scarf for winter and I haven't found anything I like (haven't tried too had tbh) so I think I'm going to learn to knit one.

Ordered in the Our Legacy paisley scarf.
I like it but it's kind of teetering on the boundary of being like a 70s sofa cover that your mum had. It's nice and warm but I'm not sure whether I'll keep it because I don't know how much I'll be able to wear it with and I also bought the raw silk shirt and I'm a little weary of dropping all that money at once (both on sale tho, get in).
Also it smells funny
Fit pics spoilered below

My quest for a scarf that won't make me look like a basic bitch concludes. Returned OL scarf, got this one instead from Kapre. Was pretty lucky to get it since Kapre normally only sell to retailers, none of which are near where I live. Mum struck a deal with them and we got a few in.
Material is real soft, 100% wool and much nicer than the OL one if you ask me. It's about the same size (huge) and very warm as well.
No fit pics until after christmas, when I officially own it.
