hey everybody, just got this qlo suit in and am pretty pleased with it, but wanted to see if y'all had any fit critiques. already planning to hem the pants and sleeves, but wanted to know if there's anything else -- the fit feels just a touch "off" for some reason. thanks so much! shoes and shirt are just what i had on.

The shoulders looks a little small, particularly on your left shoulder. I doubt you could size up out of it though so if you're happy with it I'd keep it.

I'm trying to wear this shirt from India in some way thats not just with other traditional garms but I'm having some trouble with it because the shirt by itself just makes my torso look incredibly long and messes up the proportions

Image

I tried it with a long kurta underneath as to make it look very intentional but I still feel theres something missing.

These are actually really cool. I think a tad looser pants and not as light

i'm inclined to agree with mr. shelvey, i'd pass on the jeans, some lightweight cotton (or heavy, i guess, as weather determines it). shoes i'm not sold on but while i don't have any better ideas, i'm thinking anything between corny beat loafers to some kind of chunkier runner (saucony?) would be neat.

I'm trying out this kind of 90s kid look, but I'm honestly not sure if it even looks remotely ok or if I'm just being nostalgic.

EDIT: Thanks for the suggestions/feedback everyone!

80% of my clothes-related issues are pant/shoe interaction

trying out air carnivores with my acnes, i usually see them with less tapered cropped/rolled pants so i don't have a reference point as to whether or not they work with skinnier pants. my gut says it works but maybe it makes my ankles look kinda dainty???

here you go with just the top layer and dropcrotch + sandals as you suggested. i guess i could wear the long kurta too but i dont want to look incredibly color blocked.

Heres a hypothetical one for you guys, I don't own all the pieces for this fit so I cant post a picture so this is pure speculation and Image. I had an idea and I cant decide if its really stupid or kinda cool so I want a second opinion. I was thinking about buying a Guerrilla Group vest thing and wearing it either under or over a black topcoat (maybe the one from uniqlo x lemaire primarily cause its fairly inexpensive). I want to say this would look cool but usually my cool ideas dont quite work out the way I envision them. I was inspired by a somewhat similar fit where somebody layered a helmut bulletproof vest under a blazer and it was sick.

Got myself a nice new Zam Barrett blazer (I quite like it besides the overlocks, very Devoa feeling, but less structured).

Image

Got a cool curved hem sleeve thingy going on so the pinky-side is a bit longer than the thumb-side and the lack of buttons for the sleeves remind me of a French cuff, almost. Zam says I can get it tailored to keep the overlocks and curved hem at least, which is good to know. I'm thinking of getting it tailored so the thumb-side would end where a "standard" blazer would and the pinky-side would extend out a bit more. Yay/nay?

I hesitate to put this into the looks thread now that it's called "Good Looks," so I guess my question is: how's this?

Not a full fit but playing around looking like an early 20th century British Farmer.

Ideally my trousers would be more voluminous, grey cotton trousers with some guidi footwear. Its basically me doing Paul Harnden with old Geller pieces. Any responses/criticisms are appreciated.

Image

sorry no proper full body shot as it was for my brothers project and we were playing around with the top half anyway. Shoes were just some derbies.

These pants fit how I'd like them to when viewed from the front, but whenever I see them in pictures from the back they look like they're pulling weirdly on my legs up around the knee. Is it just me who sees this or is the pull noticeable?

I'm surprised because they're pretty roomy so I don't understand why they look like they're pulling - guess it's something about the cut interacting weird with my legs.

Also I guess while I'm here soliciting general thoughts on this fit.

I'm kind of experimenting with pants before the weather gets cold enough to wear this. I'm not used to looser pants, and I'm really really wanting to find ways to enjoy these peir wu snowpants I just got, but the width taking getting used to. Plus, with the worn-in look of this uc coat, I'm thinking the jeans might be a better option with it as opposed to the really clean and tailored look of the peir pants. Tell me what to do.

Also I feel like the shoes are gonna be a point of contention so before that happens I plan on wearing docs with this too, I just kinda threw these on. Also the proportions of the fit with jeans seem off, it's because the angle is more downward, it's not as top heavy in person
