Getting wisdom teeth out tomorrow now that they are finally giving me issues. Just enjoyed my last meal of solid foods (despite wincing in pain during every bite). Anybody had the experience? Hoping to be semi-functional come monday..

- Just looked through your previous posts. I'm 23 and in Vancouver as well! ssris are shitty, and if you ever just want someone to talk to, or a reason to get out of the house, send me a message and we can do a coffee or beer.

and , we should all form a wellbutrin club together ;)

Update
Surgery went great. Felt fine all of today. Have been on a codeine + archer + greek yogurt combo since 3 pm. Should be plenty ready for my interview next week. Nurses were laughing at me for taking selfies 5 minutes after surgery. Thank you all for your stories.

xpost to pics of your face? haha

cat's out of the bag, and I split up a few days ago.

it was mutual and we're still good friends, so no need to worry about us!

I can't believe this just happened. I got caught masturbating by my parents via facetime!!!!!!!

just relaxing, tuesday post dinner. watching some porn (james deen + sasha grey) while laying on bed. ehh, whatever.
mom + dad facetime me
in my haste to exit out of said porn, I press "accept" while wildly clicking everywhere
no shirt, just bra.
mom starts trolling me - why are you wearing a tank top in this weather??? YOU ARE GOING TO CATCH A COLD and are you taking a nap right now? don't you have better things to do?!!! and are you watching something?!!! what's that noise in your apartment-- **
dad starts asking me about my 5 year plan (MBA sparky, MBA)
surreptitiously slide lower in the frame so only neck up exposed
trying to put some clothes on while keeping my face and neck immobile. harder than it sounds
90 minute conversation about grad school, my singleton status, my plans for valentine's day, and my job

why, why, why?!

Couple of white dudes (who are usually friendly acquaintances) were joking how I look exactly like the two other Asian Americans in the class. They took it a step further and implied that our physical similarities somehow undercut our individuality, like we were all some nerdy Asian kid with different haircuts. (None of us were nerdy at all.)

The thing that really pissed me off, though, is that they kept laughing with each other, never really acknowledging me in the conversation. The jokes were directed at me, but always intended to make someone else laugh. When I told them to stop being dicks, they stifled more laughs and told other people in the room about the joke.

A pretty mild example of microagression, but it hurts especially since I've been a "new kid" for a while and things like this always make me question if I'll ever acclimate to the school.

I get kind of sad when I look at my hair and body and not have it be what I want

I hope to fix all of this by the start of 9th grade.

1. Change your look/hair/whatever

2. Keep it for 2-3 years

3. Look back and go, "What was I thinking, I look ridiculous"

4. Change/Repeat

you're so young bro don't sweat it. Like girls are probably still taller than you. You've got so much change ahead of you in the next 5 years its nuts. no reason to spend time stressing over things that will iron themselves out on their own.

I'm supposed to meet up I NYC with this girl Ive started seeing recently but snow may put a stop to those plans. Looks like it might be another disappointing V-day. I'm not sure I can handle that level of let-down right now. I started Wellbutrin today so maybe that will be good.

Kind of crashed and burned at the Poetry Slam last night. The guy on before me did this south park style funny poem about having a girlfriend with a burkha which kind of put me and the room in a weird mood and didn't particularly mesh well with my gloomy poem. Anyway when we got home the person in the bed with me who is blonde with blue eyes said that she thought the burkha poem was pretty good and it's important to say make controversial jokes about this kind of topic because too many people have a stick in their ass about it. I didn't feel like I adequately explained why I thought it was kind of shitty of her to say that and now I feel kind of bummed out. Maybe I should chill out about these kind of things too I don't know. Obviously impossible for you guys to judge because you didn't hear the poem but I just want to vent my feels.

is it really heteronormative considering it tends to be women in that role on the catwalk?

sounds like good fun to me. my experience might've been different but on my campus sorority girls were frequently subject to/participants of much more degrading activities.
